A former top CIA covert officer who ran one of the spy agency's secret domestic networks says there are now more foreign spies on U.S. soil than at the peak of the Cold War. The former officer, Hank Crumpton, who also served as deputy director of the CIA's Counter-Terrorism Center and led the U.S. response to 9/11, speaks candidly to Lara Logan about his life as a spy on 60Minutes, Sunday, May 13at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Boy, that ol' 0bama sure has had it tough since becoming POTUS.
The hell that he has had to go through compared to other presidents...
Most of them are sitting in social networks monitoring trends, creating polls and using subtle tactics of information gathering.
why not....incompetence reigns.
Im glad to see Lara Logan back in interview mode..
More spies in U.S. than ever, says ex-CIA officer
Ours or theirs?
DOMESTIC? Isn't that FBI's domain? The lawwas CIA does not operate spy networks domestically....but maybe King Obama fixed that law too.
The government is a real mess.
Both; we’re outnumbered.
Who needs spies when hussein is freely giving information to the enemies (U.S. enemies, not Obama’s)?
What the hell. We have an avowed enemy of the United States in our White House.
Possibly of interest ping.
The KGB and other intel services place the value of an agent-of-influence far above simply stealing secrets.
The most useful agents of influence are writers, reporters, academicians, government employees, law enforcement (especially counter-intel agents like FBI), and politicians. They are recruited by blackmail (preferred), ideology, money, sex, etc.
An agent of influence can be called upon to do the bidding of the handler whenever needed. A good example happened in the 1970s in Japan. The head of the Japanese Socialist Party in the Diet was blackmailed after taking a small amount of money from a Russian spy. When a MIG-25 pilot defected and flew to Japan, the Russians pulled the guy’s string. The legislator pulled out all the stops using his political influence to get the fighter returned to Russia intact before the CIA could take possession of it.
I’ll bet they have gay video of Obama. It would be a violation of SOP if they did NOT have blackmail hanging over his head.
These fools are wasting their money sending spies here. If there’s anything they want to know all they have to do is ask. Obama, Napolitano, Holder and and plenty of socialist democrats will be glad to help - not to mention the Muslim Brotherhood members now in homeland security.
I see no one in any powerful position, except a very few in Congress, who are looking out for the United States.
It’s all rotten through and through.
“After my next election I have more flexability”.
