President Barack Obama's announcement Wednesday that he supports gay marriage boosted the hopes of gay rights groups around the world that other leaders will follow his example, though opponents denounced his switch as a shameless appeal for votes.
Several countries, including Canada, Spain and Argentina, allow same-sex marriage, but far more countries ban it and dozens even prohibit consensual same-sex relations. Gay-rights groups hope Obama's views will inspire more change.
"This is incredibly important, it's excellent news. The United States is a global leader on everything, and that includes gay rights," said Julio Moreira, president of the Rio de Janeiro-based Arco-Iris gay rights group. "This will force other nations like Brazil to move forward with more progressive policies."

What Obama has done is legitimize homosexuality for the black community. He just gave cover to black men who believe having sex with men does not make them homosexual. It’s now “normal”.
Obama has just guaranteed a decrease in the black birth rate as black men embrace homosexual relationships and an increase in HIV/AIDS in both black men and women. But you will never hear the liberal press and Hollywood trumpeting those accomplishments.

Obama’s proclamation has ZERO influence on blacks. Racism trumps all in the black community and they’d vote for Obama even if he reinstated slavery. The church, religion and God? Racism trumps THAT too.
Believe me or not. It’s your choice. I have a “friend” who is a operative in the Obama campaign. He just informed me that the Obama campaign has decided to divert a significant amount of funds earmarked for the Daily Kos and Democratic Underground and instead funnel them to the Free Republic.
I was told the logic is that the Free Republic is spouting a equal amount of hate towards Romney as the Kos and DU are, but there is one big difference. The Kos and DU are preaching to the choir meanwhile the Free Republic is reaching readers that would normally vote for the republican candidate, and the Obama team feels that a typical Romney voter that is persuaded to stay home or vote for a minor 3rd party candidate instead of Romney, is just as valuable to him as a typical democrat that Kos or DU convinces to vote for Obama.
It looks like Free Republics money problems will soon be a thing of the past, as long as the freepers keep up the Romney hate than Obama and Axelrod will make sure you have all the money you need.
This bizarre turn of events would be almost funny if it was not 100% true ...

I doubt it. Their "blackness" & affinity for a hardcore socialist/welfare/nanny-state/big gubmint brotha like 0dumb0 will trump any fake concern on their part for traditional marriage values. Just like black "evangelicals" will fall in place & vote for 0dumb0 once again. They may be "evangelicals" but they're not truly born-again, saved Christians. They are false prophets & false teachers!
For liberals/socialists/fascists/communists/special minority protected classes, the advancement of their marxist ideology (which is their one & only true religion), will ALWAYS trump any other issue.... 2nd amendment, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, moral issues, pro-life, etc. The same 98% dumb-ass blacks will vote once again for 0dumb0 no matter what he says or does. The only reason a few more of them might not vote for 0dumb0 is if they are too drugged up or still high from the night before.

They’ll still vote 95% Obama, but the turnout will be much less.
