Los Angeles Times - 2 hours ago By Mitchell Landsberg Florida, the state that bequeathed Bush vs. Gore to the American political lexicon, is once again evenly divided in a presidential race, according to a new statewide poll.

We can win without them. Even with a weakling like Romney. Win without them and govern without them.
I disagree. I think that Hussien will win NY, CA, IL, etc. but not by huge margins.
As for MI, WA, NJ, NH, MA, etc., I think these are in play (my opinion). I really am beginning to think that many people are getting really sick of Zero’s liberal positions and egotistical speeches that the will vote against him in November. I think that more and more people will view Romney as a more reasonable and palitabe alternative.
I don’t believe it for a minute, not even a second.
First of all, at this point in the campaign, go with me on this, an incumbent barely tied or leading just a little, is really, really bad news for the incumbent.
It ain’t rocket science. A lot of people, not political junkees, are probably not even aware that Romney’s pretty much clinched the nomination. There’s probably plenty of people still waiting for Newt or Palin to maybe make a comeback.
And yet Romney inches up more and more...in MAY?
Assuming the polls aren’t skewed, which they always are.
I know this administration can read the handwriting on the wall. What with the 2010 rout and what happened this past Tuesday....they know their days are numbered.
“I was with a black dem elected official yesterday and his commentary was quite out of sync with Ozeros stance on a wide number of issues ....”
Don’t count on that translating into Romney votes. The portion of Black community that dislikes Obama will suck it up, hold their noses, and pull the D lever. Never minding that Obama has driven the bus into a ditch.......
“I considered him undecided.”
Must be ne of those ‘go along to get along canines.....’
I don’t translate that into Rombama votes, but I do think there will be less for Ozero which is a half a vote for Rombama.
So WHERE is a good conservative to go??
Making it worse for the dog eater, this is a “registered voters” poll.
Registered voter polls are worthless in my opinion.
“an incumbent barely tied or leading just a little, is really, really bad news for the incumbent.”
All of what you write is true but what we don’t yet know how much the affirmative action bump barry will get. That is uncharted territory. Some percent of dim bulb moderates will pull the lever for barry no matter how bad a job he does because they so want the first black President to be successful. We won’t know until the election what percent of voters that will be.
With past polling history I can guarantee that Romney is actually up by at least 5% right now and Obama knows it which is why he threw that Gay Marriage Red Herring out there yesterday.
“Northern VA is reliably Dem now”
This should not be forgotten and may tip the state to the kenyan in the election. It is sad to see Fairfax County now a bastion of Democratic Socialism.
I wish I knew. Alaska comes to mind. Quite defensible if TSHTF. I know some have left altogether and are living in Central America.
BS and more BS. o bama will not win Florida. NO WAY!
his is a junk poll, designed to fit a predetermined outcome.

Of course it is.
Please!!!! Give me a break!!! Obama will lose Florida by a huge margin. end of story!!! Obama is leading Romney, just like Charley Crist was leading Marco Rubio. Rubio beat Crist by nearly a million vote margin!!!

Bingo!
I can’t speak for the other states...but Washington is as solidly liberal as California. Washington will go for Obama by a moderate but solid margin. Washington is reliably Democrat, enviornmentalist, pro-union and very pro-gay. None of these by a huge margin but by a very solidly reliable and unassailable margin. And every year it trends even more solidly Democrat. If Reagan were running today both Carter and Mondale would carry Washington, even against him, easily and solidly.
Maybe NJ, NH and MA are possibly in play. I think WI might be in play, same with PA. I’d me astounded if MI and WA don’t go all the way for Zero. Any northern state with a major urban core is going to be a long shot for a Republican. Between the dependent parasite masses, the prog True Believers and the Dem fraud machine those places are going to give Zero overwhelming numbers of votes.
The best we can hope for is that they stay home. 90%+ of them who get to a voting booth will pull the lever for the Dem, no matter what he does or what he stands for. Donks = Dollars. Its a simple pocketbook vote.
A Republican can still win VA, but it will require high turnout downstate. Republican turnout was depressed in 2008. I don’t think it will be this year. But Fairfax and Loudon will glow blue on the map, you can guarantee it.
Still wouldn't most have already thought he favored "gay" "marriage"? People just lack knowledge.
The fact that he holds any lead at all is vomit worthy. I truly don’t anticipate him losing ground either to be perfectly honest.
I know most do, I’m not one of them. I actually think he’ll gain in support as we move towards November simply because Romey is so awful. Sickening.
That’s Hillary Clinton’s favorite story. She famously referred to it during her tirade against “the vast right-wing conspiracy that attacked my husband from the beginning of his campaign”. He talks about “the turtle on the post” a lot too.
Alaska is a possibility. I still think Montana and Idaho still look good.
The only way I will leave America is feet first with my boots on. She is too valuable to abandon.
Its enough to make a true conservative weep.
Maybe it's time for you to get a Mitt and get in the game.
Yeah, well watch what happens.
“Fairfax and Loudon will glow blue on the map, you can guarantee it.”
I guess it’s partly my fault. Back in the ‘90’s I worked for Trader Joe’s and helped open the first few TJ’s in NOVA. Loudon back then was mostly farmland and now it is full of dim bulb dems!
My father-in-law having died, my mother-in-law has now made Aliya to live with us. Two Obama votes taken out of the calculation (only a fringe benefit), and yet another argument for extended family, rather than nuclear familettes.
I won't leave America because, well, there is nowhere else to go. The other choices are either liberal socialist petri dishes or dirt-world crapholes. I don't have the money to go live in a compound on some Costa Rican mountaintop. I don't know if I would go even if I did, though.
I was there for the Grand Opening of the TJs in Reston. It was a nice little town back then.
If it goes our way, election night and the next couple days could be...interesting. If Zero is trending poorly going in I'm taking a few days off so I don't have to go near Baltimore.
Not only that but Obama gave up forty two percent to his opponent in the West Virginia primary, an opponent who is in a federal prison in Texas! He then gave up twenty percent running UNOPPOSED in North Carolina! Twenty percent of the voters went for “other”.
But “barely” is enough.
If you really want to know, Milton Friedman has articulated some very thoughtful and knowledgeable answers. Here's just two of many from which to choose.

THAT is funny. That should definitely make the rounds.
My email list *all* got it! [With many accolades.]
I learned on Rush today...a lot of these Yankee transplants are called *Halfbacks* ...I’m glad Rush asked the caller, from NC, I believe, what the term meant...
A person originally from the northeastern U.S. who retired to Florida only to later move “half way back” to the southern Appalachian mountains....b/c they found Florida too hot in the summer...and find the mountains of NC cooler. :)
We have several in our Legion here in Hershey. Several moved back from Florida to Ashville, NC area. They are still bitching though. The golf courses are too hilly.
All of them good people.
Ashville, is positively beautiful! As are the Smokies. :)
“I have conducted a poll and the results are:
Obama- 112%
Romney- 0%
Other- 3%
How can I get it published?”

The AP and reuters are hiring new obama ass-kissers.

Good for you! We will stay here and FIGHT these people, even if the only thing we have left are teeth and fists - like the Spartans at Thermopylae. And like the Persians - THEY WILL BE STOPPED.
I want that bumper sticker! Is it real, where did you get it?
I got it from a post on FR.
It was made by a FReeper.
He said we should all feel free to use
Obama is not scared, he has the Dem thugs and criminals to handle the election results for him.
Don’t forget all the Muslims that have moved into Northern Virginia, too. They are complete and utter slime and a blight on the land.
