Obama's Second Term Transformation Plans
American Thinker ^ | May 8, 2012 | Steve McCann

Posted on 05/08/2012 3:05:56 AM PDT by beejaa

..."The overwhelming majority of Americans do not understand that Obama's first term was dedicated to putting in place executive power to enable him and the administration to fulfill the campaign promise of "transforming America" in his second term regardless of which political party controls Congress. That is why his re-election team is virtually ignoring the plight of incumbent or prospective Democratic Party office holders... "The most significant accomplishment of Obama's first term is to make Congress irrelevant. Under the myopic and blindly loyal leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have succeeded in creating an imperial and, in a second term, a potential dictatorial presidency..."

“It is going to be interesting when the Obama team tries to confiscate private pensions, 401K’s, and IRA’s.”

Yes it will be interesting to watch ... watch how easy they do it and turn people who have large 401K’s and IRA’s into evil rich who deserve to be stripped of their ill gotten gains.

Watch how the IRS will be involved into intimidating anyone who tries to cash out before hand with huge penalties and potential criminal prosecution by some obscure law.

Once the Govt takes over the 401K’s / IRA’s, guess who will be the largest share holder of privet business in America? And we'll stand there and watch in amazement as America goes from a Capitalistic society to the Govt owning the means of production/business.

If he does, I’m guessing he will do it through class warfare. Simple, direct assault is so...unsophisticated.

Absolutely. Yet every time a new EO is issued, inevitably we're told, “this isn't new, XXXX did this back in XXXX. Obama just updated it”. This is what the career politicians have been working toward.

"And yet some still prefer this for four more years."

Quite true!

Obama is going to unleash an unscrululous campaign. This war on women bs is just the beginning.

All of those Freepers railing against Romney, and I'm no Mitt fan, are only insuring the distruction of the country.

They need to called out immediately. W/o a united front we are toast.

No matter who is the republican nominee, we have to vote Obama out in November.

I totally agree. I for one certainly did NOT want Mitt to be our nominee, but no matter how far to the left you feel he is, he is NOT BHO and will not appoint outright communists to positions of power. It truly saddens me to see so many on this board saying that they will not vote for president at all if Mitt is the candidate. That is a recipe for disaster IMHO.

Open Mic Catches Obama Asking Medvedev for Space on Missile Defense
March 26, 2012

"In a private conversation about the planned U.S.-led NATO missile defense system in Europe, President Barack Obama asked outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for space on the issue.

This is my last election,” Obama told Medvedev. “After my election I have more flexibility.”

“I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” Medvedev said, referring to incoming President Vladimir Putin."

______________________________________________________________

Obama was talking with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev when neither of them realized that their conversation was being picked up by microphones. Here is what they said:

Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him to give me space.”

Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you ...”

Obama: “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”

Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”

“This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.” That statement tells us much about the president’s mindset.

The specific mention of missile defense is worrisome enough. Mr. Obama has retreated from the missile defense plan that was negotiated with European allies during the George W. Bush administration. Apparently, he is signaling Moscow that he intends to retreat further. The clear implication from the president’s comments is that he cannot tell the American people before the election what he plans to do after the election.

In addition, there is the phrase “on all these issues,” implying more is at stake than just missile defense.”

When it comes to keeping America safe, we shouldn’t be too flexible:

Good article.

And yet some still prefer this for four more years.

FUBO!!!!

Right on!

Such as FrReeper Waywardson who a couple of days ago was encouraging Freepers to abstain from voting for Romney ("Why Christians and Patriots CANNOT vote for Mitt Romney") who I noticed since then, (and I can't blame him/her) has been in hiding and has not followed up on his INSANE and INANE rant.

As BAD as Boosh was and as many of his RINO Compassionate Conservative policies and programs he supported (or conversely, did not oppose and veto) he never set out to intentionally harm our Republic or make any effort to destroy America....unlike what our present occupier in Chief and FASCIST, NEO-COMMIE, Dear Leader has and as bad as Romney might turn out to be, I don't see anything in his past which leads me to believe he would continue O'Bummer's destructive path.

STAY HOME IF Y'ALL LIKE; castigate and denounce Mittens if you will; warn all of what his Administration would look like, but PLEASE do not advocate the rest of us follow in your SUICIDE PACT and I for one, will NOT help Barry Soetoro's reelection chances by not holding my nose and voting for the lesser of 2 evils.

PS: I am a 68 years old Conservative Independent (and NOT a Republican) Nam Vet who loves this country and fears greatly for our survival if the Community Agitator in Least gets another 4 years to do even more harm than he has already done.

I believe the author is spot on.

"Spot on" is exactly the way I'd describe this piece as well. All too many people...including all too many right here on FR...don't fully understand that while Jimmy Carter's second term (which is coming to an end) has been beyond disastrous, the next four years, with Osama Obama at the helm, would be Hugo Chavez's third term.

Well the Fact is Reid and Pelosi Already have Plenty of the $$$$$$$ ,I thought they were after the Power, they have Now been Neutered.

They're both old and wealthy - now they want prominent places in the history books of whatever follows the U.S. on this continent. Maybe even a bad Soviet-style bronze monument.

Me, I'd like to see them in the history books, too. Swinging from D.C. area cherry trees.

Romney was hand picked by the ruling elites to lose to 0bama. So was McCain.
