CIA thwarts 'undetectable' al-Qaida bomb plot

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The CIA thwarted an ambitious plot by al-Qaida's affiliate in Yemen to destroy a U.S.-bound airliner using a bomb with a sophisticated new design around the one-year anniversary of the killing of Osama bin Laden, U.S. officials said Monday.

The plot involved an upgrade of the underwear bomb that failed to detonate aboard a jetliner over Detroit on Christmas 2009.

Based on knowledgeable sources that wish to remain anonymous before they divulged classified information to the press, Al Qaeda is placing explosives in breast implants. TSA is feverishly working on updating screening procedures and possibly changing the acronym to “T&A”.

In the real world, all this means for you air travelers is that you can count on TSA goons giving you virtual prostate exams/pap smears and insulting you even more thoroughly than before. I refuse to be physically molested and degraded by strangers, so I don’t fly anymore.
