Europe was plunged into fresh economic chaos last night as France rejected austerity and elected a tax-and-spend socialist president. Nicolas Sarkozy suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of Francois Hollande, who ran on a platform of tearing up last December’s controversial deal to save the euro from oblivion. The inexperienced Mr Hollande is now seeking talks with the European Central Bank and German Chancellor Angela Merkel to demand further borrowing to boost growth.

I wonder how the popcorn futures market is doing.
First thing he’ll do is freeze all assets of the rich and their bank accounts, and then confiscate their wealth, and will have to prevent their exit from the country.
Then, he’ll have to take over all businesses, and run them. It’s the only way that socialists and communists know how to do things, and it’ll please those who voted for him, and then, within a short period of time, they’ll all realize that they screwed themselves into becoming another Cuba or another North Korea.
Obama will be watching closely to see if there are any teachable moments in there for him, because, Hollande will be the guinea pig for Obama’s plans.
Given nobama’s purported interest in men, he may “hand” something to the new french socialist prez...but it won’t be $$$$.
France is screwed. Pretty soon, they’ll be just like California.

I don’t know how they do that. The can’t print euros and no one will lend a lefty like this money, and Obama isn’t going to give France money in an election year.
