Are you an ABO like me PO'd at JR for getting called a RINO? Truce declared! Please DONATE!

Attention "Anyone But Obama" (ABO) FReepers! If you go to the thread at the link you will will see that JimRob has "declared a truce" and hundreds of ABO FReepers are now vigorously defending their belief, which I share, that the ineligible Marxist Manchurian MUST BE DEFEATED to preserve the Republic...without fear of "the ZOT"! Please consider a DONATION not just to fund renewal of expression and amplification of your ABO views, but let's over-achieve this FReepathon to get JR his new equipment!

IMO, Free Republic and FReepers could be vital in swing states in rallying just enough conservatives to tip the election and prevent our troops from having to salute for even one day longer than necessary an ineligible Marxist committed to destroying the USA !

Well that is the Pits!!!! However, maybe this will make you feel better, at least until our Presidential election :

....”New French Socialist President vows “75% tax” on anyone making more than $1.3 million...that’s $975,000 in taxes for someone who makes $1.3 mil.”... he’s also lowering retirement to 60.

Here’s an idea....let’s welcome all the French millionaires into the united states! We could use the extra tax revenue!

If your comments on this thread gave any indication that you were really interested in knowing, and would be receptive to the possibility that you might have not behaved in a Godly manner in your posting here, I would willingly dig through more than a thousand posts to find them.

If I have been ACCUSED of something; then is it NOT the ACCUSERS resposibilty to produce the evidence?

I'm not too big to be gracious and accept an apology; if your time is so valuable.

I felt I needed to respond to your last post yesterday, but am not interested in continuing this conversation here, as it is not germane to the subject of the thread.

OhioWfan, I understand your rationale, and I agree that Obama has problems that will make it harder for him to be re-elected.

(BTW, I realized my last post #1225 had a typo, which is why I logged back in and then saw several pings to me. I meant to say that “I do not have a problem with ‘Anybody but Obama’ people — they include the vast majority of my Republican friends in my county who supported Rick Santorum.” What I wrote was “Anybody but Romney,” which would also be accurate, but it's not what I meant to say. My point was to say that most local Republicans I know, even if they were opposed to Romney, are willing to vote against Obama. We do have a fairly active Constitution Party group in our area but I don't see them realistically getting traction in a presidential campaign in a closely divided swing state like Missouri where it is quite possible that every single vote could count.)

Thanks to caww as well for your kind compliments at #1229 on what I wrote. And I agree, Elsie, on your assessment at #1246 of likely motives. I don't know many of these people or have a prior background reading their posts, so I'd rather be charitable if in doubt.

Back to ohioWfan: yes, some of Obama’s core constituencies, including blacks, Hispanics, and young voters, are seriously hurting. There are reasons why the Democratic Party is pushing student loan issues now, sending racial signals on the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman case, and trying to make a “war against women” argument.

Also, I agree with you that lots of unhappy people in 2008 projected their idea of “change” onto a largely blank slate, and now that they're seeing what the “change” involves, they're disillusioned. As conservatives, we can only hope that people have changed their minds about the nature of Obama’s “change.”

For the sake of the conservative movement in the short term, probably the best possible scenario out of our current bad situation would be an extremely narrow Romney victory with lots of conservatives in “safe Republican” or “safe Democrat” states casting protest votes for third parties, making crystal clear to Romney that he doesn't have a mandate to push a left-of-center agenda.

I think Romney will do whatever he thinks it will take to get elected, and I'm extremely unhappy with the trial balloons he's been sending up about a “move to the middle.” If we don't hold his feet the fire we're going to have an awful mess if he's elected, and an even worse mess with four more years of President Obama if Romney is defeated.

Re: third-party: it looks like people just spending energy on a cause that was lost before it began.

Look...even the 50-50 crowd (those who presume 50% for either party) have eventualities where half of them supposedly (in your words) "spent energy on a cause that was lost..."

Half of those "50-50" "causes" campaign managers lose.

If you are a runner-up for the job you always wanted, does that somehow make you feel better?

Is a runner-up job candidate any better off than the 3rd place runner-up?

You see...You elect to look ONLY thru the filter of winning.

Once you commit to that filter, then...
...to be consistent...
...ANY -- and I mean ANY -- vote cast for a loser (even if they got more popular votes but lost electorally)...constitutes a "wasted vote" -- a vote that made no difference in the outcome as you wanted it...
...any $ or energy spent on that candidate was likewise "wasted"...

Also-rans don't count in a winner-takes-all situation.

So. Really. This all calls for patience for voters in swing states.

Because the polling data tends to be fairly accurate...and if it won't matter at that point -- whether you voted for a second-string "also ran" (like possibly Romney) vs. a third-string "also ran" (like third party)...then why vote for a pro-abort liberal socialist healthcare pioneer?

As for FREEPER voters in non-swing states, I say again: Why would vote for a pro-abort big govt socialist healthcare liberal? Already, we know RIGHT NOW that your vote for Romney won't make a difference in keeping Obama out of the White House.

Romney will lose -- or win -- that state minus your input into the ballot box.

Thanks.

I have often thought of compiling a list of those I though would be eligible to inherit Eternal Life, it would be a daunting task to include all those that have indeed laid out the rules to attain that goal.

I have been doing works, but who knows how many works to do.

I thought about memorizing the Bible, nah Computers make that unnecessary.

I thought about praying five times a day, nah, someone already uses that one.

Then I thought of some of the simpler things, like; Whosoever believeth on Me shall have everlasting life.
Even to those that Believe on My name.
Grace is a free gift of God, the price has been paid.
I have made the way so simple a fool could find it........

Hope that is seen, is not hope
for what a man doth see,
why does he yet hope.

Jesus is exactly who He said He was. Made Simple easy to understand statements about what was telling us. He left a simple plan, preachers and teachers made it complicated, not unlike how lawyers make the Constitution complicated today.

God intended for us to rule our selves, but like the days of old, we shout for a king to rule over us, then we shall obey all His rules.........

Christ will deny no one. Ask while on you knees in the corner of your room, alone and sincerely, to come into your heart and he will. Read the Bible and pray and ask, he will come to you and then you will understand. You will be overwhelmed with a joy that is indescribable and then walk confidently in your faith in Him. Please try it if that is what you really are searching for.

LVR gave some great advice. May I add: Ask God to lead you to a good, Bible-believing church. :-)

Interesting perspective, darrell. If we could control those numbers and still get rid of Obama, I would agree with you.

No matter what, the Conservatives we elected in 2010 (some of whom have been enormous disappointments, some of whom have not), and the new ones we elect in November have GOT to hold firm with Conservative principles in both the House and Senate.

I'm also hoping that both Santorum (my choice because of social issues) and Gingrich will offer much advice on conservatism that will be understood and accepted by a far-from-conservative candidate.

The 'move to the middle' nonsense is exactly the kind of thing that Santorum, Gingrich, and all of us need to stop Romney from carrying out. He has no core (which, of course, is why he was none of our choices), but perhaps he can be persuaded to actually BE the conservative he claims he is.

Again.......I am a hopeless optimist, and am always looking up, and not down.

I do trust in God's promise that, no matter what happens, HE will never leave us, nor forsake us.

If we are subjected to punishment as Christians under a second term Obama, if we face the very real possibility of persecution under an unbridled Marxist regime, we need to fight for all we're worth, but also TRUST that God will give us the strength to endure what we never dreamed would happen to us in America.

Thank you for the reminder, Jim!

Double standards have become the standard in the world of culture and academia. My wife and I are both in two of the most anti-Christian professions out there, but compared to what goes on in the world of art, neither of us have even come close to what Christian artists have to deal with.

One of the things which woke me up about the need to stop tolerating garbage was listening to a politically conservative Rabbi say that he couldn't believe how much harassment Christians tolerate. He pointed out that nobody would get away with the kind of bigotry said about Christians in America if it were said about Jewish people or other religious minorities.

Of course there are perfectly valid Biblical reasons why we don't act like Muslims and storm into the streets demanding execution of those who burn the Koran or “insult the Prophet.” But that doesn't mean Christians ought to let themselves be intimidated into silence.

I think we probably agree in large measure.

This might just possibly be a good summary of why we're saved by grace and not by works.... ;-)

____

Q1. What is your only comfort in life and death?

A. That I am not my own,(1) but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death,(2) to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.(3) He has fully paid for all my sins with His precious blood,(4) and has set me free from all the power of the devil.(5) He also preserves me in such a way(6) that without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head;(7) indeed, all things must work together for my salvation.(8) Therefore, by His Holy Spirit He also assures me of eternal life(9) and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for Him.(10)

1.1 Cor 6:19, 20.
2.Rom 14:7-9.
3.1 Cor 3:23; Tit 2:14.

9.Rom 8:15, 16; 2 Cor 1:21, 22; 5:5; Eph 1:13, 14.
10.Rom 8:14.

Q2. What do you need to know in order to live and die in the joy of this comfort?

A. First, how great my sins and misery are;(1) second, how I am delivered from all my sins and misery;(2) third, how I am to be thankful to God for such deliverance.(3)

1.Rom 3:9, 10; 1 Jn 1:10.
2.Jn 17:3; Acts 4:12; 10:43.

None!...October surprise is coming...war with Iran...Israel just unnited both of their "parties" to be united rather than wait til Septemeber elections..now off...in order to form a united front.

Nathanbedford has apiece that clearly explains why Obama will win...and of course why Obama is so arrogant about winning....a relevant article IMP.

It does however certainly reflect a divided country...and how deeply Commi, Socialists, and all the others have infiltrated.....not to mention a President with outside influences helping the destruction of this economy.

These Romney die hards remind me of the idiots that voted for Obama.. They don't want to hear any facts about him and if you do, they cry racism ( "bigot" in Romney's case..)

Like with Obama, we are all suppose to forget about Romney's past and dream of what a good president he will be.

I love how some of these people have utopian ideas about everyone would just get along if it wasn't for these "bible thumper creeps". Yeah, like Islam ever wanted to get along with anyone. Like Obama's pastor, Rev. Wright had no effect on the rest of the country. Perhaps if Obama had sat in the front row seat of the First Baptist Church in Atlanta for 20 years with pastor Charles Stanley preaching, he wouldn't have been a radical marxist that he is.

Well they are wrong to think this is about bible thumping...we can leave that to those who do just that. It has to do with a mindset of a President who's life long cult manipulation and ritualistic teachings will indeed affect the decisions he makes.

You will note that Romney is known by those he's worked with, as well as done business with...that you do not form a “relationship” with him....there's a wall that's generally noted by all, unless they are Mormon, and they have commented as much. This wall is because of the exclusiveness which cults require of their members...it's them and us and a huge line between...and this taught from childhood.

All cultists generally deny when they are faced with the facts....but in Romneys case he was born into this cult and groomed completely by it's teachings...who has risen throughout that organization to one of the top dogs of power and influence over it's members.

People wonder why Romney comes across as a plastic faced individual..or robotic..this is not new. It's how many are affected via cultish rituals and the ways in which they are controlled..... And like all who fall prey to these they cannot see the obvious in themselves....nor those like them. Romney certainly wouldn't...he's completely entrenched in it.

It is also why when you attempt discussion with them they ultimately will leave the discussion once their programmed responses aren't working...for then it requires critical thinking skills and many loose a portion of that ability along the way thru the processes of their ritualistic indoctrinations and the demands required on them as members.

Romney has gone thru all that....if you watch his wife as well you see this detachment. They both say all the right things, polite and such...but they simple are into you. Unless of course your Mormon.

You're right..it is exactly as the Obamas supporters treated Obama’s Reverend Wright....and yet we see those very teachings played out in his administration.

People really do need to learn about this cult, why it is called that, why the Christian community has never accepted them as Christians....but more perhaps see what cult teachings do to individuals the deeper they get...and why it's so difficult for people to leave them.

Even moreso...look at what the LDS Global agenda is and how they see themselves in it. They aren't acquiring vast real-estate, companies, and investing worldwide for nothing.

What would they say for those voting for Ron Paul now, because some are convinced a fruitcake conservative is better than the Socialist agendas being pushed by Romney and Obama?

(Yes, I never in my wildest dreams would ever have thought of Ron Paul as an "attractive" alternative TO anybody...dare people look in that direction?...Well, I understand why...)

It's fast becoming clear many here are truly Romney supporters far more than ABO voters.

Yes...some were simply "wing-waiters"...biding for their chance...
...Others are NOOBs...recent sign-ups...whose role will be to try to create a bandwagon effect...their focus up to now has been mere anti-ObamaISM...they'll then move into subtle pro-Romney arguments & apologetics...including Mormon apologetics...
...Others are Romney Revivalists...if you look @ their posting history from late '07 into early '08, they were open Romney supporters then...Some of them, tho, to be fair, have moved around a bit...for example, some were Thompson supporters til he dropped out...
...And then a few are hard-core Romney moles...Open deceivers...

The only ones which are "evidential" are those you have a history of -- post-wise (the middle two categories) -- and that includes some obvious NOOBian activity.

You will note that Romney is known by those he's worked with, as well as done business with..

The "testimony" Mitt commercials have begun...

There's one where a guy testifies that his daughter was lost in NYC...and Mitt "saved" her...

Waiting for the eventual commercials (they'll probably wait to see if Romney wins & run them in 2016 for these) where they claim...
..."Mitt baptized my dead ancestor...and saved him..."
..."Mitt baptized my relative lost in the holocaust...and saved her."

I'm not a part of the anti- Mormon campaign...which by the way ,calling it that is one of the first lines of their defense, and common for any who do not agree with them....and for the record typical for cult members to use.

I am about the mindset of our President....the Obama supporters refused to consider the teachings of Jeremiah Wrights Church which OBama sat under for 20 some years. And yet we see that very ideology playing out in his presidency and also that of his wife....it is not hard to see.

Now I could care less what level within the Mormon cult people are at....it all leads to the same end. But for Romney he was born into this cult, groomed by it, and rose within it to a leadership position at the top. And that should concern every voter.

The LDS most assuredly has a political agenda...which many of it's members know of and why they will all be supporting Romney in this....you can bet that instruction will come from the top...and none will defy that “order”.

If any do not think Romney as President will be using his position to further this cults teachings then consider Proposition 8# in California.....where massive of mormons headed the call to fight that....

On the other end of the Continent...when the Swiss determined to ban all missionaries in their country, 13 congressional representatives, most Mormons, fought that, using their official positions and headed by Harry Reid.

Do you not think likewise Romney will do the same?...especially because he will have to do what the President of his organization determines. He has no choice..and wouldn't do otherwise even if he thought he did. Though of course for Political gain, as always Romney will say whatever is necessary to gain his next position.

So you are highly mistaken to imagine Romney's strong affiliation with this group isn't significant...it certainly is and it needs to be told.

Why would I say so if I'm not voting for either Romney nor Obama?...... Because people need to know just how Romney will be operating....they need to find out who these leaders in his church are, who none are accountable to the us or any other......And who, as is the nature of Mormonism, will continue to operate in the darkness outside of the public’s eye moving thier own poltical agenda forward.. I will not sign on nor give my consent to be governed by an unknown group of men who have no accountablity on how they determine Romney serves this nation.

I noted some time ago the mormon push on You tube.....many pages begin with a mormon "testimony" of one form or another.........This is all a part of 'softening the public' up to accept this cult and exactly how cult's work, and which the LDS and all it's affiliates are involved with. Big money going into this, as they see it their chance to bypass the Christian's community refusal to acknowledge them as anything but a cult....important for people to know that Romney's Presidency will be used to "Qualify" their cult.

Just as the Press stopped any news of racial issues when Obama first took office and before hand....so to they will do likewise with Romney's Cult.

Unfortunately many of the standard protestant churches have been infiltrated with the idea of opening the churches to those of all faiths....including pagan practices....so you can pretty much guarantee they'll accept this cult as well.

God said this would come....but it sure seems to be sweeping this nation now as people are ripe for it.

What’s scary is listening to some so called Christians talk up Romney and excepting his faith. A woman told me, “ So what if Jesus was married, would that change your faith?” I was floored.

I've now read all of eastforker's posts. He most definitely said NOTHING of "getting rid" of anyone. He asked Jim why he allows certain threads and articles that do nothing but bash Mormons/Mormanism and Catholics. Jim finally responded that's its all pretty much fair game and he said, fine. EF never requested anyone be banned or made to disappear.

Of course, along the way, ef was attacked by all the usual 3rd party, gang members who patrol every thread for any whiff of pro-Romney or pro-GOP sentiment and attempt to grind it into fine dust. So, as usual, you're wrong.

Do you guys tag-team each other or ring a bell?

I wasn’t talking to you. I don’t know who you are and I don’t care what you think. Go stand with the other gang members and shut up.

Exactly.

Almost 16 months ago, I posted the following (next graphs) after reading this article by Peggy Fletcher Stack in the Salt Lake Trib (see RNS: Faiths' ad campaigns chase after the great 'I Am')
...There, Stack notes how the Mormons were using the Scientologists' PR series in its crafting of its "I'm a Mormon" commercials.

At that time, I asked:

I wonder if some journalists are seeing other online articles such as: Did the LDS Church model their ads after Scientology’s?

Or perhaps this posting board of ex-Scientologists! Hey! I might be a Mormon!!!

The first poster of this second above-linked thread said a year ago:

Fascinating approach for the cults to try and overcome crushing negative public perception.
* Make it look all technicolor lovely and normal
* Interview a person who believes they are dedicated to a good cause to help mankind
* Stay away from the crazeeeeeee beliefs.
* Make it all sound all simple and common sense.
* Hey, it works! Hey it's spiritual! Hey it can help you! Hey it's fun!
* Hey, read a book!
These scripted, orchestrated propaganda pieces use innocent dupes to lure unsuspecting victims.

Bottom-line is this:

'The word' has come down from on high @ the Salt Lake City suite where 'the prophet' lives:

"Puff Romney" [the same order William Randolph Hearst gave the order to "Puff Graham" ... Promote Billy Graham]

And: "Let's 'Jackie' Mitt" [Mormons want to make Mitt their "Jackie Robinson" story...meant to 'mainstream' the Mormons from cultic status]

This whole election has been beyond any ones "wildest dreams"...that's for sure. Look, France just voted themselves a real hard core socialist...Greece let in the Nazi's....and the push for a socialist world is fast encroaching...... The people want all the goodies and are willing to lay down their freedom for that.....it will be a very hard task master before it's done, and that as they never would have anticipated.

The Eu and US think they can control the Muslim Brotherhood as they assist them in taking over governorship's of the ME nations, and they will comply for a time while they gather their power stronghold throughout the ME. Obama and Romney are in the same wheel with this entire push for world governance.....we're going there now and the majority of this nation obviously willing to go with it.

I can't imagine Paul as President...but at least our guys could lead him easily around...or blow him over. He wouldn't do much to resist...he'd just like the ride. Not so sure I'd vote for him...but I can understand why more are gravitating that way....no question he's on the ticket....Can you believe how insane this has gotten!!!!

I guess when the Insane Asylum ,worldwide, is running the show it couldn't have any other outcome. All goes back to the World has turned their back on the One true God....and he's saying ok have it your way for a time...and he's removing his hand.

I have NO expectation that Romney would revert to ANY of his previous liberal stances, especially on abortion...

Revert? Did he ever leave? (Or perhaps you'd like to become an apologist for what Romney told Katie Couric below about 1,600 days ago:

YEAR Obvious Pro-Abortion Romney Romney Feigning 'Pro-Life'
December 2007 vs. November 2011 (Pro-treating offspring as research refuse late in previous POTUS campaign vs. now claiming 'never changed...always pro-life' December 4, 2007: Romney: ...surplus embryos...Those embryos, I hope, could be available for adoption for people who would like to adopt embryos. But if a parent decides they would want to donate one of those embryos for purposes of research, in my view, that's acceptable. It should not be made against the law." (Source: Candidates Reveal Their Biggest Mistakes) Any "inquiring minds" want to try wrapping their minds around how a politician in one sentence mentions "adopting" embryos out (yes, a great thing to mention!) -- but then in the very NEXT breath says if a "PARENT" wants to be "pro-choice" (Mitt used the word "decides" which is what "pro-choicers" say they want) "to donate one of those embryos for purposes of research, in my view, that's acceptable." Say what???? How about 8-month gestationally-aged infants in the womb, Mitt? Or already-born infants, too, Mitt? If a "parent decides they would want to donate one of those...for purposes of research, in my view, that's acceptable..." No??? What's the 'pro-life' difference, Mitt? Here you call an embryo's mom&dad "parents" -- but "parents" w/ "research" give-away rights? How bizarre we have such a schizophrenic "candidate!" In the past you’ve said he’s changed positions only once, on abortion. Was that your doing? No, no, I never talked to Mitt about that. Our personal opinions have never changed; we’ve always been pro-life (Ann Romney Reveals Mitt's Softer Side)

Unless, of course, STC, YOU are willing to come on these threads and announce: "Yup, I just 'donated' my son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter to 'research'...and I'm 'pro-life'."

THAT should be the commercial run...a Romney quote from about two months before he quit his last campaign...advocating the 'researchability' of offspring....

Sounds like they're all creating "An angel of light"....and you'll be seeing more and more of the New Age Spirituality connecting with them since they both believe they'll have planets to rule, Muslims as well, are now painting pretty videos of themselves on video, it's all going to come together...and some sincerely believe Romney will unite the religions....no wonder there's a bit of them all in Mormonism.

Thanks for this below.... was a good read...and how cults and false religions both now and later will "package" their themselves to an unsuspecting peoples..and since people are now primed for touchy feel things..they'll buy it too.

I know...the enemy of mens souls is having a banquet throughout this election...but it surely is revealing isn’t it?

An associate at work was going on about her vote for Obama...I asked her how she felt about abortion....oh she was absolutely opposed to it in every way. I then shared about both Candidates....she had no clue about either, nor where they stand. And this is much of where the ‘voters’ are. They STILL don’t know....and most don’t care.
