Obama Launches Campaign in Empty Arena

Barack Obama launched his campaign in unspectacular fashion today at Ohio State University, the largest college in the crucial swing state. A photo posted to twitter by Mitt Romney's campaign spokesman Ryan Williams reveals that the event was poorly attended. The above image, according to Williams, was taken during the President's first official campaign speech.

I was embarassed for our country; for our First “Lady” to be giving out clues on a game show during a re-election campaign, was disgusting-and desperate.
And it’s teen week on Jeopardy too...give us a break!

One of the clues she gave was about a vegetable that had vitamin this and vitamin that etc. “and it is the President’s favorite!”

“What is a sweet potato Alex?” one of the teens asked. And Alex said “that’s correct! We are learning a lot about our President tonite!”

-took us 4 years to find out something he likes to eat besides beef and ice cream (I would have guessed grasshoppers-they’re green!) Wonder what else we don’t know about him?

The Obamas were also popping up on Animal Planet during March and April, that blew my mind....but,no rest for the wicked. I feel like I’m living in Russia or China with our Dear Leader’s face plasted everywhere...

Still, looks like a large crowd of dumb downed mindless racist robots/parasites/"gimmes" to me. The up side - he is losing the youth vote. Many reasons why, but I predict they will be half or less of their numbers in 2008. They are becoming apathetic while Constitutionalists (read: conservatives) are becoming energized even with Mittens getting the GOP nomination.

Either Bambi gets for more years or his lite version (Romney) will get the Oval Office, but I strongly believe that the Senate is lost to the Dims. I'm not worried about the House. Either way, liberty busting legislation will not survive for either to sign.

Unfortunately, Romney will not repeal the egregious Executive Orders, Czars, bureaucracies, regulations, et al, put in place by the Marxist and Reid/Pelosi ilk. It will take major stones for Congress to find their rightful place and dare either to veto.

Our future rests on the USSC and their decision regarding Obamacare. If it goes down, then any future president will be minimized and Congress may find their cojones. If it stands, this great experiment in liberty and self-determination is over. A confirmation of Obamacare will open the path to the Fedgov declaring all must purchase other products for the good of the "people". It will be a "Fast and Furious" push to control everything everywhere (pun intended).

I'm on the back stretch of my life. While I adore my wife and love my little doggy, I will NOT succumb to tyranny. My wife has told me that she would respect me less if we just sat and hid and lived with it. Whatta gal!

“Michele was giving out clues on Jeopardy last night for crying out loud!”

Obama can’t run on his record, AT ALL, so they are trying to make him in to a “Cool” media Icon again.

It may work, it may not. After all, the sheep WERE dumb enough to elect him in the first place!

Empty promises, too.

Obama 2012: Running on empty, like his arena.

It matters. This was their “first” official campaign event, and it was a FAILURE.

I understand Obamas campaign people had to ask people to come out of the bleachers to stand on the floor, so it would ‘look like’ more were there.

His first Cam[aign stop and he forgets Michelle while stepping off the plane...and then blew his first campaign appearance with low crowd numbers.....now that is Very Bad when usually the first stop is dynamic....

The thrill is gone it would certainly appear!

A few percentage points on polls right now mean little or nothing. If Romney runs a good solid campaign and keeps the heat on the Obama record, he will win in November. We better hope he does, like him or don’t.

`````````````
well stated, and exactly where voters need to be focused.
He will get fewer braindamaged republican votes than in 2008
Yes, Romney will pick them up.
It may well be the new Republican base...?
Brain dead and pre-dispose to compromise.
As well as,displaced “moderate” independents who believe the answer to combatting a liberal progreassive Democrat is to put a liberal progressive Republican in his place..???
Team Obama’s in luck - they’re DEMOCRATS - - the MSM will pretend they didn’t notice the place was half empty.
````````````````

So true. Make this an Republican/Tea Party rep, and it would be front page.

His first Campaign stop and he forgets Michelle while stepping off the plane..
`````````````````
There was no teleprompter to let him know to look behind him to see if Mochelle was there, and then smile/wave to whomever was greeting them coming off the plane.
Once these two hacks leave office it will be interesting to see how they are treated.
To be fair I don’t think Romney wants to go this road, anyone remember like 200 people in Fords Field at his event a few months back?
