Why not? She’s a Catholic. And the Catholics on this board always claim, once a Catholic always a Catholic.

She is not a Catholic. She has been formally excommunicated by her Kansas Bishop.

Because she does not represent Catholic teaching. Do you want Arriana Huffington representing Conservative thought, she claimed to one at one time.

I am a Catholic on this board and I fully recognize the reality that all too many baptized as Catholic have excommunicated themselves (latae sententiae as Catholics say) by their transgressions against God, against the Faith, against the Commandments, and/or against the Law of the Church, including the Natural Law.

Therefore, we Catholics on this board do NOT "always claim, once a Catholic, always a Catholic." Pelosi, Kerry, just about anyone named Kennedy of the Hyannis Port Kennedies, Rosa DeLauro, Susan Collins, Kirsten Gillibrand, Jack Reed, Patrick Leahy, Kathleen Gilligan Sebelius, Richard Durbin, Pat Quinn(occhio), Robert Menendez, and so many, many other rank apostates in public life.
