FWIW, I don’t see Ø gaining much points if he does help Israel with Iran.
Some few Jews he has lost in cities/states that he would have anyway might go back to him, but most of those that like him aren’t in favor of hitting Iran, those that hate him will say “so what, this is what you were supposed to do if you weren’t such a schmuck”.
As for “sticking with a wartime president”, most everyone else will know he did it to wag the dog, and it won’t change their views either way.
