May Day demonstrators who marched through Seattle turned violent Tuesday, with black-clad protesters using sticks and bats to smash stores and automobile windows.

I listened to the local coverage on 'progressive' radio. They were demanding that the police arrest the people causing damage and interrogate them to determine if they were Tea Party members trying to give OWS a bad name.

Officers made at least two arrests - a 23-year-old man for vandalism and a 19-year-old man with a knife - after hundreds of people marched through downtown. Police also reported recovering homemade incendiary devices made out of toilet paper rolls and fruit juice boxes, and the large crowd disrupted traffic and Metro and school bus service through downtown, with delays of up to 90 minutes reported.

Two arrests?? Two? Are you frigging kidding me? There were hundreds of people marching and only 2 arrests were made? No wonder this happy horse shit happens in Seattle every year or so. They're a bunch of weak sisters unwilling to defend themselves...they deserve what they get.

According to the article the “black-clad” people doing the damage discarded their black clothing which allowed them to blend back into the crowd. That would be the OWS crowd, of course.

Questions for reporters:

1) What was the ratio of black-clad protesters to the number marching in total? 1%? 5%?, 50%? Nearly all of them?

2) What did your interviews of those arrested reveal as to their political affiliations?

3) What did your interviews of the non-”black-clad” marchers reveal about their attitudes toward those doing the damage, and about their attempt to blend in with supposedly law-abiding marchers?

Imagine what the reaction of the Tea Partiers would be if a bunch of nincompoops attempted to despoil a Tea Party gathering. They’d likely be detained by the law-abiding (and litter-free) Tea Partiers and held for the police. Not so with the “law-abiding” portion of the OWS mobs. They just provide them sanctuary apparently.

Obama and the Left are going to regret linking themselves politically to this “99%” mob, which is actually more like the .0000001%.

At the American Apparel store next to Niketown, assistant manager Mia Harrison was folding sweaters when she heard the commotion.

"I decided to go out on the sidewalk, and I saw all the people in black masks running to Niketown and our store. They started to throw smoke bombs and canisters," she said.

The vandals shattered a door and cracked two windows. No one was hurt. "It's pretty sad, almost like someone broke into my house," Harrison said.

Yes, 2 arrests. You need to understand that the Seattle Police Department has been recently reprimanded by the US Justice Dept for “over reacting” and using violence against minorities. In fact local groups have demanded that a Federal judge or agency oversea and monitor the Seattle Police Department.

They are on a very short leash. Anything that they do (like make a false arrest or react violently to provocation from black clad thugs) will be used against the Police Department and the individual officers.

The black clad thugs attended workshops where they were taught tactics and their legal rights. They were taught how to both bait the police and to create headlines.

Yes, if would have been nice to see 50 or 200 people arrested, but the legal aftermath of that would have been used to destroy the Seattle Police Department and many officers lives and livelihood.

Actually from what I read this morning there were 8 arrests and the media has been playing film footage of black clad thugs changing out of their clothes and exposing their faces before melting back into the crowd. Federal agents are also investigating damage at the old federal courthouse.

Hopefully some good police work will identify others within the black thug movement and bring them to trial. Personally, I feel that someone needs to throw the book at these thugs.
