President Obama has arrived in Kabul, Afghanistan, on a surprise trip to sign a strategic agreement with Afghanistan. He will address the nation at 7:30 p.m. EDT from Bagram Air Base on Tuesday evening. In going to Afghanistan on the ninth anniversary of the most notorious example of premature presidential gloating, Obama risks turning the high point of his presidency into a political weapon for his enemies. But it will be how the president conducts himself while in the war zone that will determine if this trip is lumped in with George W. Bush's donning of a flight suit and appearing on an aircraft carrier under a "Mission Accomplished" banner.

Obama’s “brilliant” Democratic campaign staff apparently believe the public is so stupid that said public won’t see this as political. Obama is the “Greek column” President, using imagery and symbolism to cover up his laziness and lack of interest in his job.

Somebody at the so far useless RNC had better be finding out how much this campaign trip is costing us, and use it. Everyone knows what the Emperor is doing, and he needs to be called on the fact that he is once again using our money for his campaign trips. This is really getting friggen ridiculous. Not only that, but the same networks that refused to cover Romneys speech are going to cover this? Somebody please get this POS out of our White House!!
The RNC has already started to send to protests to the GSA.
Us former WalMart shoppers, who can’t afford to shop there anymore, will enjoy watching it while dining on our .88cent Banquet frozen dinners...mine has a brownie in it for dessert! Must be my lucky day...

He doesn’t have any other achievements so he has to milk this for all it’s worth.
I’ve made it through four years without hearing that flap-eared punk give an address, speech, etc. In fact, I’ve heard very little that’s come out of his mouth. It will make me happy to continue on in that vein tonight.
According to my estimate, at 7:30 p.m. (EST) it will be 4:00 a.m. (May 3rd) in Kabul.
Bet the troops (who will no doubt be "ordered" to appear) are thrilled over that.
