Al Armendariz said Monday morning that he had submitted a letter of resignation on Sunday.
Armendariz was already a lightning rod for conservative critics of the EPA in Texas before last week, when a video became public in which Armendariz spoke of "crucifying" oil and gas companies that broke the law.
Members of Congress and Texas officials jumped on Armendariz's words as proof that he had run the EPA's regional office as an anti-industry zealot.
The environmental engineer, on leave from a professor post at Southern Methodist University, sent a letter Monday to his friends and supporters:

I’m surprised the resigned. The Federal Machine must be working on moving him around where he can wreak more havoc on the American people from behind the scenes.
Certainly someone with such a hatred for our own energy independence would have a fine station as one of Obama’s radical Czars...

In a free capitalist society a man like this should NEVER get anywhere near this kind of position. The fact that he was should give everyone the chills.

He may have been told to go, but the reason he got appointed in the first place was that he would crucify gas and oil companies along with hussein. He didn’t just fall on the sword for his master—he actually believed what he preached.

Adios Al! Hell probably just go to some academic sinecure where he can complain of being martyred by the right-wing media.
BTW, for a professor hes not very good on geography and history. He said the Romans went to little towns in Turkey. Turkey as such didnt exist in the time of the Romans, most of the coast was Greek settlements, and the interior would have been Anatolia.

I'll say it again...
EPA management is currently filled top-to-bottom with environmentalists.
They were taught that traditional forms of energy production are inherently evil.
They were recruited not just for their academic prowess but for demonstrating in their writings and extracurricular activities their total devotion to this creed.
They were chosen for being true believers.
They believe our continued usage of our most reliable and abundant sources of energy is a criminal act for which our country should be punished dearly.
Their mission is nothing short of the systematical dismantling the coal, oil, and natural gas industries in the United States.

It doesn’t matter that this guy is gone - he’ll be replace by another O-bot that will think, feel, and act the same way, but will keep his mouth shut regarding true intentions. The only way this gets fixed is to unseat Obama in November, and pull all these weeds out by the roots.

They’re all freakin’ zealots.... and not necessarily those appointed. Many are hired in during an Administration and never leave, leaving EPA (or whoever else) with people in place slowing some processes and fast-tracking favored projects.

But what about his “professorship” at SMU? I recoil at the idea that scum like this has infested our entire “public” education system top to bottom. Another generation, if we do nothing, and America will cease to exist in the form in which it was created. “Multiculturalism” is such BS. Send them all back from whence they came. Maybe the Mexicans can show the Africans how to build better mud huts and the Africans can instruct the Mexicans on how to throw spears.

EPA Soldier: I'm afraid we lost them, sir.
Cargill: Damn it! Well, then you find 'em, and you get 'em back in the dome! And to make sure nobody else gets out, I want roving death squads around the perimeter 24-7! I want 10,000 tough guys, and I want 10,000 soft guys to make the tough guys look tougher! And here's how I want them arranged: tough, soft, tough, tough, soft, tough, soft, soft, tough, tough, soft, soft, tough, soft, tough, soft!
Soldier: Sir, I'm afraid you've gone mad with power.
Cargill: Of course I have. Have you ever tried going mad without power? It's boring, no one listens to you.

Not good enough. The guy’s quitting because he spoke the truth. The den of vipers AKA “EPA” needs to be cleaned out from bottom to top.
They don’t just do this “crucifying” crap to companies, they do it to private citizens who merely try to develop their own land for a home to live in.
