Obama's Plan To Seize Control Of Our Economy And Our Lives (Read this executive order)
Forbes ^ | 04/30./2012 | Jim Powell

President Obama has made clear that he’s determined to continue pushing his “progressive” agenda, regardless of constitutional limitations on his power. He aims to have his way by issuing more and more executive orders.

The most ominous sign of possible things to come appeared on March 16, 2012, when President Obama signed executive order 13603 about “National Defense Resources Preparedness.”

This 10-page document is a blueprint for a federal takeover of the economy that would dwarf the looming Obamacare takeover of the health insurance business. Specifically, Obama’s plan involves seizing control of:

* “All commodities and products that are capable of being ingested by either human beings or animals”

* “All forms of energy”

* “All forms of civil transportation”

* “All usable water from all sources”

* “Health resources – drugs, biological products, medical devices, materials, facilities, health supplies, services and equipment”

* Forced labor ( or “induction” as the executive order delicately refers to military conscription)

Moreover, federal officials would “issue regulations to prioritize and allocate resources.”

Each government bureaucracy “shall act as necessary and appropriate.”

To be sure, much of this language has appeared in national security executive orders that previous presidents have issued periodically since the beginning of the Cold War.

This is MUCH more than a rehash of the 1958 Emergency Powers.

With just a few changes little bammy has taken the military out of the picture and changed it from "Emergency Powers" to full time, 24-7-365, no end, no sunset.

Don’t know if y’all went through the 16 Mar E O but I finally did.

Here is what jumped out at me...

There is a specific deletion and replacement of the prior EO procedure.

From March 16, 2012.

Sec. 803. Authority. (a) Executive Order 12919 of June 3, 1994, and sections 401(3) (4) of Executive Order 12656 of November 18, 1988, are revoked.

What was it?

A specific part of the Emergency Powers EO that has been handed down since 1957 allows the President to direct allocation of resources during times of national emergency that puts the Secretary of Defense at the top of the food chain for determining what is necessary for National Security.

Sections 401(3) (4) of Executive Order 12656, November 23, 1988

"(3) In cooperation with the Secretary of Defense and other Federal departments and agencies, analyze potential effects of national security emergencies on actual production capability, taking into account the entire production complex, including shortages of resources, and develop preparedness measures to strengthen capabilities for production increases in national security emergencies;

(4) In cooperation with the Secretary of Defense, perform industry analyses to assess capabilities of the commercial industrial base to support the national defense, and develop policy alternatives to improve the international competitiveness of specific domestic industries and their abilities to meet defense program needs;"

Ok, what did he put in its place?

PART IV - VOLUNTARY AGREEMENTS AND ADVISORY COMMITTEES (March 16, 2012.)

Sec. 401. Delegations. The authority of the President under sections 708(c) and (d) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2158(c), (d), is delegated to the heads of agencies otherwise delegated authority under this order. The status of the use of such delegations shall be furnished to the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Sec. 402. Advisory Committees. The authority of the President under section 708(d) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2158(d), and delegated in section 401 of this order (relating to establishment of advisory committees) shall be exercised only after consultation with, and in accordance with, guidelines and procedures established by the Administrator of General Services.

Sec. 403. Regulations. The Secretary of Homeland Security, after approval of the Attorney General, and after consultation by the Attorney General with the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission, shall promulgate rules pursuant to section 708(e) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2158(e), incorporating standards and procedures by which voluntary agreements and plans of action may be developed and carried out. Such rules may be adopted by other agencies to fulfill the rulemaking requirement of section 708(e) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2158(e).

Basically, he has shut out Sec. Def. (the military) from having any input into what is done under the National Emergency EO.

One more time...

Before...

“ Whereas our national security is dependent upon our ability to assure continuity of government, at every level, in any national security emergency situation that might confront the Nation; and

“ Whereas effective national preparedness planning to meet such an emergency, including a massive nuclear attack, is essential to our national survival; and

“ Whereas effective national preparedness planning requires the identification of functions that would have to be performed during such an emergency, the assignment of responsibility for developing plans for performing these functions, and the assignment of responsibility for developing the capability to implement those plans; and

“ Whereas the Congress has directed the development of such national security emergency preparedness plans and has provided funds for the accomplishment thereof;

“ Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and laws of the United States of America, and pursuant to Reorganization Plan No. 1 of 1958 (72 Stat. 1799), the National Security Act of 1947, as amended, the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended, and the Federal Civil Defense Act, as amended, it is hereby ordered that the responsibilities of the Federal departments and agencies in national security emergencies shall be as follows:"

After...

Section 101. Purpose. This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the "Act"). Sec. 102. Policy. The United States must have an industrial and technological base capable of meeting national defense requirements and capable of contributing to the technological superiority of its national defense equipment in peacetime and in times of national emergency.

"in peacetime and in times of national emergency"

Grabbing power that has been reserved for emergency use only and turning it into “Whaz da Fedz sadz” anytime, any place, “no reason need be given” authoro-tie is in itself a giant FLUKE YOU to every real American Citizen.

Most everyone I speak with understands what he did with the “in peacetime and in times of national emergency” crap.

They get that part.

What they are not seeing is that he has gone waaaaay beyond most folks understanding of this EO as being a full time power grab.

He has locked out the military and put his civilian freak show crew of communists, homos and "progressive liberals" in the top slot for all "advisements."

Basically he has just EO’ed his “civilian national security force” into existence.

Remember that? How did that go?

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set," he said Wednesday. "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

He can now have absolute authority over every last action, exchange, movement, speech, transaction, person, resource, activity, protest and prosecution of all Americans.

100% of the time, no matter the circumstance.

Additionally any common activity from paying for things in cash to having a currently running Presidential candidate bumper sticker on your car to taking professional art photographs of a flukeing TRAIN will get you on a DHS list as a suspect “terrorist.”

The “photo of mass destruction...”

http://www.pixiq.com/article/illinois-deputy-threatens-to-add-man-to-terrorist-watch-list

He has everything in place.

Fed LEO’s are just this side of completely brainwashed.

He has a base of government entitlement dependent voter drones.

90% of the MSM as his personal propaganda machine.

If you protest him or “cause a disturbance” in an area controlled by the SS, under HR 347 / Senate Bill 1794, Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011 (passed and signed) you are a felon. Whether you even knew they were there at the time or not.

And now he has made a huge move with this subtle monstrosity of an Executive Order.

What would anyone say the odds are of a little bammy “October Surprise?”

And what if it appears that he will be denied a second term via poll numbers in mid-October?

What will his communist, narcissistic personality disorder delusion of reality do with that ultimate authority?.

So, let’s review one more time and tell me he isn’t falling further into this very pattern...

By Mayo Clinic staff.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/narcissistic-personality-disorder/DS00652/DSECTION=symptoms

Narcissistic personality disorder is characterized by dramatic, emotional behavior, which is in the same category as antisocial and borderline personality disorders.

Narcissistic personality disorder symptoms may include:
Believing that you're better than others
Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness
Exaggerating your achievements or talents
Expecting constant praise and admiration
Believing that you're special and acting accordingly
Failing to recognize other people's emotions and feelings
Expecting others to go along with your ideas and plans
Taking advantage of others
Expressing disdain for those you feel are inferior
Being jealous of others
Believing that others are jealous of you
Trouble keeping healthy relationships
Setting unrealistic goals
Being easily hurt and rejected
Having a fragile self-esteem
Appearing as tough-minded or unemotional

Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence or strong self-esteem, it's not the same. Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence and self-esteem into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal. In contrast, people who have healthy confidence and self-esteem don't value themselves more than they value others.

When you have narcissistic personality disorder, you may come across as conceited, boastful or pretentious. You often monopolize conversations. You may belittle or look down on people you perceive as inferior. You may have a sense of entitlement. And when you don't receive the special treatment to which you feel entitled, you may become very impatient or angry. You may insist on having "the best" of everything — the best car, athletic club, medical care or social circles, for instance.

But underneath all this behavior often lies a fragile self-esteem. You have trouble handling anything that may be perceived as criticism. You may have a sense of secret shame and humiliation. And in order to make yourself feel better, you may react with rage or contempt and efforts to belittle the other person to make yourself appear better.

RE :”7. Hold Mitt’s feet to the fire like we did when Bush appointed Harriet Myers to the SC.
8. Win more than we lose (Mitt is by no means perfect, but we have a small chance to shape his decisions. We have zero chance with Obama).

Republicans only started opposing some stuff Bush did after he was safely elected ~ 2005, and the result of having to do that was hardly pretty : 2009 major power switch. It's a plan for disaster.

If Obama wins Republicans will try to oppose what he does, but if we get a liberal with a Republican label then he gets a blank check for the first four years to give in on anything he wants. Admit it, you have NO idea what a Romney-care would do in the WH.

Liberal Republican Romney, Romney is a liberal.

RE: Any number of FReepers have told us that Obama is better than Romney.

Actually, from what I read in the postings, most of them are STAYING HOME because they claim that a vote for Romney is essentially not going to be different from voting for Obama, so why bother?

RE :”The House passed numerous such bills that are carried around in Harry Reid’s pocket

Yes, they passed a number of symbolic bills that went no place; but what did they actually accomplish into law besides lowering their approval rating?

They passed the Deficit Reduction Debt limit deal that :

1) Gave Obama the $3T he needed to get to the election without another fight
2) Gave away their OWN power to negotiate #1 for the next 20 months until the next congress and Obama election is over.
3) Delayed any spending cuts until after the (Obama) election
4) Passed a bill they crafted with Obama and Reid IN SECRET and forced a vote on it after in private rounding up enough in both Parties including Pelosi, without the review that they promised every bill, much like Obama-care was passed.
5) Put in Automatic spending cuts that dont take place till the NEXT CONGRESS, some of which they are already saying they want to restore.
6) Let the Bush tax rates expire at the same time as #5.

I do know what Obama would do in the WH...I think a second-term-Obama with nothing to lose would be even worse than his first.

I’ll take my chances with a moderate republican. Mitt isn’t my first, second or third choice. Obama is much worse.

You confirm my point.
Above you are admitting you don't know what Romney would do as POTUS and you don't care. That is the blank check for 4 years I referenced, and Romney is NO moderate. He is a liberal. God knows what liberal policies he would talk Republicans into supporting with the R name on them if he got the chance.

Ethnic cleansing by Jackson is viewed as a triumph? Who says this?! I believe it was a shameful act in our nation’s history.

With all due respect, that is a gross characterization of my point. I absolutely do “care,” and I resent that you choose to label my convictions that way, simply because we disagree on a point.

I think Romney would be less problematic than Obama. You never know what any politician will do. Most are prima donas concerned with only one thing — getting elected. At least Romney has run a business and is fluent in finance. Obama doesn’t know how to spell the word.

Ethnic cleaning is out of character for Dems. I expect Obama and Pelosi want ‘ Equity Cleansing ’ .

Obviously those that are making money now are the cause of all the national problems and must be rounded up and their assets seized for the 99% (really the 60%) in a ‘trust’ managed by the government much like the Social Security surplus is.

Lucky for Dems 'the rich' have their own Quislings like Buffet who are willing to turn in their own kind to the 'equity police' in return for favorable treatment.

I don’t make it a habit to argue with other conservatives, even those that are misguided. Have a good one and God bless...
