Obama Economy Driving Youth Vote to Romney

Once thought to be solidly behind President Barack Obama, younger voters burdened by a bleak employment picture, high gas prices and student loan debt are being aggressively wooed by the Democrat and his likely Republican challenger, Mitt Romney.

In 2008, Obama had a 34-point advantage over Republican Sen. John McCain among voters younger than 30. He won about two-thirds of the vote in that age group.

But a new Harvard poll suggests the president could face a more difficult sales job with younger voters this time around. Obama led Romney by 12 points among those ages 18-24, according to the survey. Among those in the 25-29 age group, Obama held a 23-point advantage.

It's an opening Republicans hope to exploit by focusing on young people's disillusionment with the candidate who promised "hope" and "change." …

What demographic isn’t being driven to the GOP by the economy? The only group that will support Obama is the government workers that haven’t lost their jobs; he will lose everything else. Even welfare queens buy gasoline & groceries; even if they use our money to do it, they’re eating less...

I know more than a few government workers who didn’t vote for bamster last time around and won’t this time either, in addition to a couple who did vote for hopie-changie in ‘08, but say they won’t now.

They are among the only groups that MIGHT be better off than four years ago; if he doesn’t get their support there isn’t any reason to go through the formality of an election. They are not too naive to know what is happening in the private sector, and will cling to their employer (especially the party that isn’t advocating laying them off) to the death.

For all the young voters who will be old voters...
E-mail from unknown stating truths, as far as I can tell.

Look carefully at the 2014 rate compared to the 2013 rate. For those
of you who are on Medicare, read the following. It’s short, but
important and you probably haven’t heard about it in the Mainstream
News:

“The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the
present Monthly Fee of$96.40, rising to:

$104.20 in 2012
$120.20 in 2013
And
$247.00 in 2014
These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation,
purposely delayed so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns.
Send this to all Seniors that you know, so they will know who’s
throwing them under the bus.

REMEMBER THIS IN NOVEMBER 2012 AND
VOTE!!!
From now thru November 2012 this
should be required weekly or at least monthly
Reading - BY ALL WHO VOTE!!!

Did you notice who Obama threatened when he wasn’t getting his way on
raising the debt ceiling?
He threatened to not pay: Social Security Retirees, Military Retirees,
Social Security disability and Federal Retirees.

Now.. Let this sink in really good -
He did not threaten to stop payments to illegal aliens
He did not threatened to take frivolous benefits such as Internet
access away from violent inmates
He did not offer to fire some of the thousands of unnecessary federal
employees that he hired
He did not offer to cut down on his or his wife’s frivolous
gallivanting around
He did not threaten to not pay the senators and representatives or any
of their staff
He did not threaten to take benefits away from welfare recipients
He did not threaten the food stamp programs
He did not threaten to not pay foreign aid
He did not threaten to cut back on anything that involves his base voters
He did not stop federal emloyees from flying 1st class asand make them fly economy.

The list could go on and on. He is in full political re-election
mode! Why are we allowing this person to destroy this wonderful country with his selfishness and his lies? His type of change is killing our country.

African Americans will vote 90%+ for Obama, but they will turn out in lower numbers than 2008.

“African Americans will vote 90%+ for Obama, but they will turn out in lower numbers than 2008.”

That will probably be the result; they are hurting like everyone else, and probably had higher expectations than most.

Young people are mostly fools. They get their news from Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and MTV. They will vote for Obama again.
