Where is the game still on? I wanna come. It better be a new face rising because it’s clear to me all the others have ducked and run. Fool me once..... I look at Trey Gowdy and see him take Sebelious apart, hand her own head, and I wonder....could he go all the way, and maybe not duck and run???? My generation has sure chucked the wagon that’s for sure, and I am sorry but that includes SP.

They have ALL penned hours of snark on why they were in it, but not to win it, why they exited, or why they didn’t run at all.

I mean we just watched a political genius with an unmatched record of accomplishment and in-your-face-take down artist and intellect, LOSE.

We saw an eager beaver stellar record on family values, LOSE.

We saw a black eager beaver economic conservative, LOSE.

We saw a TEA PARTY power with all the right credentials and a legislative record as long as my arm, LOSE.

What we need is a MOVEMENT—SOMEONE WHO STAYS AFTER THEY LOSE!

It’s a like a travesty of justice to have to say that the ONLY one who is still breathing in and out AFTER HE HAS LOST is the likes of RON PAUL, for crying out loud!

You gotta hand it to the man, he’s turned out to be the true turtle in the race against the hare still trying to amass delegates.

That’s the kind of TRY one hopes for, but in the right man.

One of the answers is a Tea Party or Conservative Binding Primary National Vote, that all potential conservative candidates agree to abide by... settle on, select, one conservative candidate only, no substitutes, no Plan B. Make the selection process as difficult and competitive as possible or needs be, but everyone abides the selection going into the next primary season. No more splitting the conservative vote, and leaving the survivors stranded, to preserve one's viability.

And, just a reminder, Rita, there was a moment, when Santorum quit, and Newt was The Last Conservative Standing... Had everyone, from Palin, to Bachman, to Cain, the so-called conservative media, et al, swooped in, and gotten behind Newt, because he was their last stubborn hope... and they had one last opportunity to set the GOP-e back in their efforts to cram a candidate down our throats... things would be different right this moment now... Instead, they couldn't wait to get on the Romney bandwagon... In Mark Levin's case, it was barely 4 hours after Santorum quit...

Think about all the "this is a good and healthy debate the American people need to hear" -- "we NEED to take it all the way to the convention - it is good prep for our candidates" - "Let's see all the contrasts between the candidates clearly"...

Especially, Sarah. She urged people to vote for Newt, even voted for him in Alaska, but never did anything substantive to help him... What a major disappointment. She is just as coy and diva as all the others... Now, she has plans on showing up at the convention. She did not undergo the rigors of the debates, or finance her own campaign, or had her measure again taken, but she will be there to try and prosper off the ashes of the conservatives...

And that's not to excuse Newt... Mr. I'm-in-till-Mitt-earns-his-1144-delegates-and-then-I'll-support-him... What happened?

All pure BS. As soon as their candidate withdrew, whoever it was, they jumped on the Romney ride.

This is devastating... this is not how principled people do business... And I thought conservatism was all about principles.

Maybe the answer is I have learned more about men and women using words, making promises, calling themselves leaders, in the last months than most people learn in a lifetime... The lesson will stand me in good stead..

Glad to see the fire is back in your belly... :)

HEY, EVERYBODY, I'VE BEEN FOOLED ONCE...

Geeminy!

At this particular hour there are several LIKE MINDED threads on the forum, which I have yet to peruse.

The point being, that an awfully lot of people are
getting the picture. Tea Party should show up in large numbers in every precinct.

Fear is fearful and so is REBELLION, but we have to pick one.

Seems to me that the last best hope is at our precinct meetings and our own county and state conventions, where platforms are affected.

We need to be politically astute on state RULES and understand what we can change, but isn’t that our best and last shot for the grassroots, to be at our precinct meetings?

Can you phone Newt’s campaign? Calista? His daughter? Tell them we need a Leader who stays after he loses????

Why can’t he finish with a pay-as-you-go style campaign.
Knock out a schedule for appearances, the cost of promoting it, set a charge for it, and just show up where the people produce the $ change for his appearance?

Tell him we’re not done.....

BUT:

DID SARAH REALLY ENDORSE NEWT, AS IN ENDORSE? Naahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Such attitude against Palin WAS the reason why Palin didn’t run in the first place. Conservatives are harsh against their fellow “true” conservatives, but mild and forgiving to “fake” conservatives.

WE LIKE GOSSIPS AND OPINIONS AGAINST ... FACT.
