Barack Obama attempts to intimidate contributors to Mitt Romney's campaign.
Wall Street Journal ^ | 4/27/12 | KIMBERLEY A. STRASSEL

Try this thought experiment: You decide to donate money to Mitt Romney. You want change in the Oval Office, so you engage in your democratic right to send a check.

Several days later, President Barack Obama, the most powerful man on the planet, singles you out by name. His campaign brands you a Romney donor, shames you for "betting against America," and accuses you of having a "less-than-reputable" record. The message from the man who controls the Justice Department (which can indict you), the SEC (which can fine you), and the IRS (which can audit you), is clear: You made a mistake donating that money.

That's an insult to Harding, Grant and Richard Nixon, who at least recognized the authority of the Supreme Court and surrendered the Oval Office tapes when they ordered it, and resigned less than a week later, if I remember correctly.

The corruption of this usurper in the White House is unprecedented.

Obama is not the second coming of Jimmy Carter. He is the second coming of Ricard Nixon.

I'm no fan of Nixon, but Obama is not worthy to shine Nixon's shoes.

Agree. Nixon had some personal honor, that is why he eventually resigned. The other two are incompetent, narcissistic, anti-Semitic boobs.

Remember if we can get enough of the right congressmen and senators in place, we can do alot, more if Romney is there than if Obama is there. If Obama retains the presidency, the nation is lost.>>>>

We thought we had the House locked up after the 2010 election, see where that got us. The GOP elite are the same ones that cost us the House and Senate, their god is power, not the will of the people. The nation is lost as long as these people from BOTH parties are in power.

Dear Ed,

No rebellion is consent.

The GOPE is counting on you not to.

They intend to keep you bending over for their own socialists as our nominee into perpetuity - because it works so long as you cooperarte.

Chances are that under Obama more will be stopped dead by a Republican congress than with Romney, who will use the socialist Republican majority to pass the same crap, but using milder terms.

I mean look at Boehner. He can’t get on board with contempt charges against Holder, for crying out loud.

Why? Because Romney hasn’t given the green light to do so yet. After all, Romney is running a campaign of milk and toast in order to appeal to the Marxist wealthy who wish to crush Obama for cramping their fiscal-financial style.

Go for it, Ed, they are counting on you.

All is not as it appears. REBELLION IS TOO DAMN HARD AND SCARY.

I stand by what I said. The things the executive can do is absolutely frightening, and can go around congress. The conversation between Glenn Beck and Michele Bachmann posted here yesterday is such an example. No Obama No way. I will vote for Romney.

The Kenyan Buffoon Marxist is attempting the Chicago Way at the national level.

Oh, would you care to list all the successes we have had in stopping anything he wanted to do? What do you call some one that has unlimited power?

The man/child pantload has really fired me up. They have blown it again. Now I WANT my name on a contributors list. I might have passed on giving in the past, given finances (Obamaconomy, price of gasoline) but I’ll find a way... Anybody got the address on where to send my dollars? Let’s get the money rolling in to Romney.

These are people like Paul Schorr and Sam and Jeffrey Fox, investors who the site outed for the crime of having "outsourced" jobs. T. Martin Fiorentino is scored for his work for a firm that forecloses on homes. Louis Bacon (a hedge-fund manager), Kent Burton (a "lobbyist") and Thomas O'Malley (an energy CEO) stand accused of profiting from oil. Frank VanderSloot, the CEO of a home-products firm, is slimed as a "bitter foe of the gay rights movement."

.. and Wal-Mart customers are slimed as causing American workers to become poor.

That's what the at least a hundred demonstrators throughout the Wal-Mart parking lot shouted at us Wal-Mart shoppers.

I stared at the guy holding a megaphone who then came at me shouting that I was to blame for the "race to the bottom." I waited til he got in my face and I shouted back that I was an American and no one was going to tell me where I could shop.

He returned to his "post" after about a minute of that face-to-face still accusing me of wanting American workers to be poor. That's sooooo old and I simply gave a thumps up to the idea.

I had had similar "discussions" at a local Grocery Outlet store where customers were harassed by union personnel -- some of whom told me that that were actually hired by a union to picket the store, not members of a union.

Are these part of Obama Campaign 2012 and are the actions to be covered by Obama media as worker-oppressor disputes? I think so.

If Republicans can get control of both houses of Congress, they can repeal Obamacare (although without 60 votes in the Senate it will be hard to get rid of the whole thing). If Obama is President in 2013, he vetoes it. If Romney is President, he signs it--he has said he is for repealing it, and if he fails to sign it, he's dead meat in 2016 (like GHWB breaking the "read my lips" pledge).

The conservative politicians who might have been able to beat Obama sat out the 2012 campaign. The convention is not going to pick one of them after the other candidates slugged it out in the primaries.

Romney has a bad record on some issues but he doesn't hate America and he doesn't hate the capitalist system. Obama is wrong on all the issues and he hates America--and melanin-deficient Americans. I'll take a faux conservative who can sometimes be forced to do the right thing over a left-wing ideologue who will always do the wrong thing.

The president is just a suggester of laws.

Wishful thinking on your part. The President has implemented directives that have the effect of law, he has Agencies issuing directives daily to the tune of 10's of thousands of new rules, all having the effect of law.

There is not one person in this country that can not be found to have violated some law or regulation, many of which can get you arrested and held indefinitely.

Now ask yourself has John Boehner defunded any of these police state organizations? Who would believe that the IRS needs weaponized shotguns in the thousands? Who thinks it is a good idea for Cities to be using weaponized drones over our cities? Who thinks it is a good idea the president to have an internet kill switch, add to that, the house just gave him the keys to all your information? Who would have thought that the President would order the Catholic Church to provide ultimately, abortions?

We had a Coup d'état and no one noticed.

/ “ No Obama No way. I will vote for Romney.” /

I know. Fear sells. AND, it works nearly everytime it’s tried!

I wouldn’t sleep well betraying the sacrifices of the Greatest Generation mnyself.

American have EARNED their own demise by sleeping through evil and endlessly cooperating with it out of convenience.

This has brought on more and worse. We now cooperate out of fear.

We truly no longer deserve what others fought and died for.
I am very glad they are not here to see this day, actually.

Any president who targets a private citizen for his politics is de facto engaged in government intimidation and threats. This is why presidents since Nixon have carefully avoided the practice

Oh, how sweet. She writes that as if she means it. Yeah, Paula Jones had a killer audit because her number just happened to come up.
