The message from the man who controls the Justice Department (which can indict you), the SEC (which can fine you), and the IRS (which can audit you), is clear: You made a mistake donating that money.

Communism at all levels. The Stalinist majority in the California Legislature wants to pass some intrusive laws. Examples -
All Hotels and Motels MUST have fitted sheets on beds. Who gives a sheet?

In practical terms, who do you have in mind that can defeat Obama this point? Congress is important in that the control the purse strings, and generate the laws. The president is just a suggester of laws. He can propose up the wazoo, but only Congress can do any action. As you said, they are a separate branch of government with their own duties.
