Howdy everyone!!

Looks like a man who has no conservative accomplishments whatsoever (actually, no REPUBLICAN accomplishments whatsoever) is going to get the GOP nomination. A man whose record virtually matches Obama's in every respect, right down to his very own government mandated socialist compulsory health insurance program.

What were they thinking? It's going to be an interesting election season, but then we live in interesting times.

To the RINO GOP:

I'm not going to campaign for this phony empty suit. Not going to cheerlead for a man with an abortionist, homosexualist, statist record. Cannot possibly vote for him. But y'all gotta do what y'all gotta do. I'm not going to stand in the way of dumping the Marxist.

FR is going to live to fight another day!!

To our loyal conservative FReepers:

We are making slow but steady headway with our FReepathon. One percent per day keeps the 404 away!! Let's keep 'er going!!

Please keep those donations coming in folks. No matter who gets the nomination, or who gets elected, we conservatives are going to need FR more than ever to hold their feet to the fire!!

Free Republic is your conservative home on the Net. We are the resistance!!

Thank you all very much for your continuing support!!

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God!!

Vote wisely. Vote STRAIGHT conservative. Put in a big supply of STATIST-B-GONE and vote 'em OUT!!

Rebellion is ON!!

What I don’t understand is how this election can be anybody’s idea of fair. I understand there are still 14 states that haven’t even held their primaries yet—that means people in those states haven’t had a chance to vote yet-—???How can the primary season be OVER???? How can this be fair-—and since when did we start running an election this way? Doesn’t anybody see a problem here??? I would think there would be enough intelligence in this country to see a HUGE problem here...we can’t go on this way.

>>it is now important for us to work on every way possible to push Mr. Romney to the right

Agreed. Usually after nomination the candidates “move toward the center”. Romney may already BE there. But I will again repeat I’m voting for “change” in the White House this fall.

Are we truly a center-right country? Time to prove it.

How is it the republicans have enough sense to nominate Tom Smith, yet at the same time Romney?

How does a huge state like Calif., for example, wind up almost dead last in the lineup of primaries, when things
are pretty much decided anyway?

The idea is to string out the process and do it bit by bit.
Can’t we have just a few weeks of regional primaries instead
of making it from early Jan. till June? The media would hate it of course.

>>since when did we start running an election this way?

It’s been like this the past few times. I wonder if the NH primary, etc., used to maybe be in March or something and it just kept getting pushed earlier and earlier. Other states also wanted to be early. So next time the NH
primary may be before Christmas. And the last one is
around the summer solstice. Not right.

He just put an avowed gay activist on his staff. I don’t think they are listening as well as you do at this point.

I’ll probably vote for Virgil Goode in the presidential slot, for my current representative and for Pete Hoekstra over Stabenow.

We have one more chance. If MaMittMitt gets in, we have to be sure we surround him with conservatives in the house and especially the senate.

The prez really doesn’t matter, it’s the people he surrounds himself with.

And THAT CAN BE CONTROLLED!

He CAN’T be allowed to surround himself with mittbots or romneyclones. The senate has to confirm his cabinet nominees, and if we ensure a majority of conservatives in the senate, mitt will get b***hslapped from day one.

There is still a chance. It will simply require more work.

How old are you? Presidential primaries have always been settled by April. I've lived in PA 42 years and have never voted in a presidential primary that mattered.

It's not new.

Fair? That's a different question.

GOP needs to be dumped. Period. None of this “we can save the party.” No we can’t! Time to create the Tea Party political affiliation Tar & Feathers Party.

Nobody ever said life was going to be easy, just another time to suck it up, dig down and keep pushing forward for conservatives.
Been there, done that before a time or two.

Time to “pivot” and focus our energies on the Houses and Senate. Let’s win the Senate and strengthen the House.
