Did Newt have a chance to win and Santorum refuse to drop out even though Newt had twice as many delegates? Ah..., NO!

Here in Missouri, Gingrich wasn’t on the ballot, but Santorum was. Santorum OVERWHELMINGLY beat Romney!

Had Gingrich dropped out back then, I have no doubts Santorum would have beaten Romney and become the Presidential nominee. But, noooo, Gingrich had to be the millstone around Santorum’s neck and hang around long enough to sink Santorum.

Oh well... Water under the bridge. It is what it is and it’s too late to change a thing.

Well, there's no way to "like" a comment on Free Republic (or I would), but it's nice to see support for Rick on this forum.
