All done. Voted for Gingrich, Rohrer, and Newt delegates.
The only campaigners at the polling place were some nice folks advocating for Christian.
I wish I could have voted for him, but I went for the long shot, not the impossible one.
He’ll be handing it over to Mitt. So you aren’t showing mitt/GOP anything just that you can be deceived which they already knew.
Deception has you wrapped up tight. That is a MITT hit piece for the clueless like you to spread around his deception. You are doing mitt's dirty work - like a cheap chump!
They have fallen for deception - evil always does and how mitt's political analyst KNEW they would - just tell them he's the best candidate and then buy support. How easily they can be deceived with his very liberal record! When Newt is in the race, also, whose is the exact opposite of Romney and Barry in EVERY WAY with a record to prove it. You can't get more 'desiring evil' than that - the result of living in fear and not "Fear Not". The 'conservative' thing means nothing - it is what is inside them that comes out when 'they feel' they have no option. Not a patriotic mindset, so not American, IMO. America would be long gone if our forefathers/patriots lived in fear. The patriotic spirit is alive but it is not for 'many'. Get ready for the complete downfall of America brought on by fear - a feeling!
“They have fallen for deception - evil always does and how mitt’s political analyst KNEW they would - just tell them he’s the best candidate and then buy support.”
It works much the same here in Texas. Even the average Republican Primary voter is not very well informed. Any middle of the ground candidate, with substantial resources for advertising, can win the Republican Primary. It is sad for me to say this, but if the Texas Primary were held today, I think Romney would win. Most voters go with name recognition and association with a perceived front-runner.
Yep, we used to have a state treasurer named Jesse James...why?...because people thought the name sounded familiar.
This ship of state is too close to the rocks to avoid them.
We are going to crash, simply because we are "big enough to fail". The fed is already printing 40 cents of every dollar the Gov. spends, that is because no foreigners have the money to buy all of our debt. In fact foreigners own so much of our debt already that they couldn't sell it if they wanted to. Imagine if China put $1 Trillion US bonds out for the bid... the market would collapse.
The unfunded liabilities for Social Security, Medicare and Goverment Pension accounts are so large that the number is basically meaningless.
The US will default and when the credit limit has maxed out and people don't get their "entitlements" and/or "safety net" benefits there will be fire/blood in the streets...
A liberal will try to keep the scam rolling... a foolhearty conservative who trys to make draconian cuts in spending that would be necessary to make a difference will face revolt.
I am a retired wall streeter...I sold some TBonds to customers that paid 14% in the early '80s... it can happen...the US is now paying 1.5% on its total debt...$240 Billion in interest...no principal...the average maturity of US debt is less than 4 years...the US must refinance $16 Trillion in the next 4 years, plus the new deficits... can't be done...so good luck picking the captain to go down with the ship.
Steve Welch is a Democrat who voted for Obama and supported the reptilian Joe Sestak, and yet he wants people to think hes a conservative.
Further proof that the GOP is scum and must be destroyed.
I’m voting in PA today. Torn between Newt and Paul. I think my conscience is saying vote Paul. I thought Newt really had something going, but he shot himself in the foot too many times. I’ll stick with the constitutionalist even if I can almost see his antennae.
Voting for Santorum. Guy I work with too, protest vote for Santorum. Rohrer for Senate.
On April 24th 2012
If Santorum is on your primary ballot
Vote for the man and his delegates who fought it
Not for the man who brought it
OBMACARE is a 1.76 Trillion $ Hydra
A 9 headed Serpent whose heads must be decapitated all at once with a Firebrand otherwise they grow back and devour everything in sight

Note this article will print out on 1 page at 60% setting
While the ex governor of the only state with mandatory state run health insurance (which is in trouble ) was busy buying up state primary elections Of the three GOP candidates remaining opposing him only one man, Sen Rick Santorum, had the courage to take on a what they call a third rail issue...Eugenics...one of the heads on that 9 headed snake called obamacare.. and Santorum had his character asassinated for it... Rick has been pummeled from both sides Called , a women hater ,, a religious nut, and ..a one trick pony. Santorum spends an hour discussing oil and the economy then 10 seconds comenting about pornography but guess what MSM and Santorum detractors will talk about... certainly not ,what’s really in the 1.76 trillion dolllar wonder called Obamacare ,,...!; Population control,.Death panels., Private presidential armys..requiring US to pay for birth control pills and abortions and all that goes in those 2400 pages of rules, laws, and regulations and with it. cost, 1.76 trillion and rising ..
To pay off a 16 trillion dollar national debt at $16.00 a second would take 31,668 years*. .. Not including interest. There is no way to “fix” Obamacare..Part of that debt is a 1.7 trillion dollar secret Xmas eve gift that was delivered in March 09 that must be returned by someone determined to do so not just exchanged .I’ts doubtfull the man in the Etch a Sketch suit will do it. Mitt has yet to explain how his “Romneycare “is working” A trillion seconds of time =31668 years
Two groups late in the last century led in Eugenic development. The Nazis and the Communists. Few know or remember how the Nazis began. First citing “health risk” “nicht rauchen” baning cigarette smoking, Then terminating Down Syndrome children, and then on to mentally defective children and adults,. then on to besides murdering opponents, races. All done to make the German Reich healthy and last a thousand years
. So you go to the MSM (Main Stream Media) the so called “gate keepers” for information about these things and you find closed gates .. The sorcerers in the media magically reduce a 2000 page Hydra , a Greek legendary nine headed venomous serpent that must be slain by a firebrand ,and morph it into the mourning after pill and a “womans health care issue.”
The “gatekeepers” never tell you that Obamacare bill creators and the Amish are exempt from being in Obamacare. The drafters are on record actually calling it population control and demanding Catholic bishops support it.* Their statements are out there .But not mentioned by the so called gate-keepers but by the AM the alternate media, meaning radio talk shows like Limbaugh’s and websites like Britebart’s Government . Places Obama wants to shut down and will once re-elected *Joel Pollak Britebart Government .
When Santorum talks about freedom he warns women surrender their rights when they buy into this monstrosity . That is what’s in Obamacare which is deceptively titled “The Affordable Health Care Act” .Yet Obamacom tzars who hail from that foreign land, the deep swamp of Acadamica are all preaching the utopian wonders of Eugenics. Why it’s the final solution (remember him ?) population control. Which is part of the Obamacare package.
Fortunately Santorum has not shyed away from this issue miss characterized as only a social issued. It is both a social and financial issue $ 1.75 trillion is in no way a minor expenditure. One of this hydra heads Population control affects US from the cradle to the grave. .but Santorum can not speakout and act against this despicable movement ? Particularly when that is being shoved on religious groups by the Demo-Coms . Especially when they are ignoring constitutional rights...
Private job creation projects rejected by the socialists controlling new demo-com party should send a signal to the Republican bleeding heart establishment . “Bi-partisanship” doesn’t exist with the socialists who have taken over the democrat party and to the GOP leading presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Mr Romney should start realizing Obama is a “socialist”.. Everyone including the monthly liberal magazine Newsweek knows he is but Mr Romney just can’t seem to get around to saying it . Preventing an iron mine in Wisconsin for a desperate area in need of jobs or preventing the Keystone pipeline transfering oil from Canada to American refineries decisions which would have provided employment to thousands and reduced gas prices. was not on the new demo-com agenda.which has taken over. Common good is not their concern but their welfare is.. not ours .
WE DON’T NEED ME TOO REPUBLICaNS
“Yep, we used to have a state treasurer named Jesse James...why?...because people thought the name sounded familiar.”
That’s great! I have an idea: I can change my last name to “Eastwood” and run for sheriff!
Where have you been? Rick Perry is not a choice that is a reality anymore, and he endorsed Newt. Newt has a (long)shot at making the convention an open one. If Romney does not have the pledged 1144, it is opened up for someone who could be better than Romney.
If Gingrich has a shot in one of the states vote for him. Otherwise vote for Santorum. The more people that don’t vote for Romney the better. GOTV people, only 45min to 1:45 in most of these states to vote.
Wow, Apathy wins...5 primaries and no election thread!
Interactive map of PA GOP presidential primary results county by county:
Wasn’t the TX politician Jesse Jones? There was also a Treasurer Warren G. Harding, but Ann Richards defeated him in 1982.
Very informative post, and it makes me extra glad that I voted for Rick Santorum today!
Thanks for your reply
Well I don’t know how much support it generated I kept on going to the state FR page to see how much interest there was in generating turnout.
I’d be interested in seeing what the final count is going to be and the delegate count from PA. My fear is; 1st, when SCOTUS announces its decision it mught just be on the mandate and let the rest stands . With the kind of thinking Romney has I think they’ll try to re-work what’s there instaed of tossing Obamacare..
What’s wrong with this thread? Romney has prevailed in all five primaries, and I don’t think any were close. Newt may have run behind Paul in one of them. That third state has still eluded Newt, surprise?
“My fear is; 1st, when SCOTUS announces its decision it mught just be on the mandate and let the rest stands .”
I know what you mean, but we might be fortunate. Keep praying.
Yep, Romney is winning Obama’s states handily. Doesn’t speak well for his chances in November.
I was thinking that too; of the five states Tuesday, Romney might have chance only in PA, if that.
I don’t see him winning PA. I don’t see him drawing Reagan Dems because he has a pro-abort past and anti-gun past.
Thanx for your very informative post, but each of us should do the best we can to prepare.
I have goods stored to combat inflation somewhat, but not many of us have enough storage space to have food, and other goods, to last us a lifetime.
We have a little silver, and gold, in my brother’s safe, but it’s too expensive to buy it now, plus precious metals can be volatile, too.
Well, I was wondering whether FR would fly apart if Mitt prevailed. How close is Mitt to being able to get a majority of delegates vs. getting filibustered at the convention?
Ay the rate he is going, I believe the Texas primary is apt to push him over, even if he does not win. Have that had any luck getting it to be winner take all?
But with Newt bowing out next week supposedly, I believe he will win it anyway.
The way it happened leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. You’d have almost thought that Messrs. Gingrich and Santorum, rather than Barack Obama, were the political devils in this picture. Maybe Gingrich and Santorum should have consolidated while there was still a better chance — they were much closer to one another than either was to Mitt. But that’s all 20/20 hindsight now.
Anyhow, I’m curious what the “official” FR philosophy is going to become. I haven’t been here for a long time and don’t have much time any more for it. Is it going to be hold your nose and vote for Mitt, while trying to muster up something a lot better for next time around (and certainly for Congress)?
Nope. JR has been very adament. He WILL NOT vote for Romney and refuses to allow any campaigning or support for him on FR.
Folks like myself who supported Sarah, then Cain, then Santorum, and finally Newt (or in some other order) but who are now inclined to vote for Romeny in an effort to get Obama out of office because we feel he is orders of magnitude worse...well, either we must do that sales pitch somewhere else, or risk the boot.
Since it is JR’s site and his rules to make, I will abide by them and come here to try and help do all I can for the down ticket positions in the House and Senate which we must have in any case, and in the States houses.
AMERICA AT THE CROSSROADS OF HISTORY
As long as JR understands that by selective censorship (nothing to oppose hare brained plans like trying to draft Illinois’ Kirk, or raising up a third spoiler party to rob Romney of votes) he’s channeling grease to Obama’s rails... well it’s his property and his right to use it to help usher in the unspeakable as opposed to the barely speakable. That’s one reason why I’m not here a lot any more. I go to Townhall now.
Frankly, I believe a second term Obama won’t just be a second dose of the first. It’ll be far worse: Obama is now a lame duck and doesn’t even have to worry about winning any more.
