MOBILE, Alabama -- Mobile police need your help to catch a mob that beat Matthew Owens so badly that he's in critical condition.
According to police, Owens fussed at some kids playing basketball in the middle of Delmar Drive about 8:30 Saturday night. They say the kids left and a group of adults returned, armed with everything but the kitchen sink.
Police tell News 5 the suspects used chairs, pipes and paint cans to beat Owens.
Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, saw the attack. "It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed." Parker says 20 people, all African American, attacked her brother on the front porch of his home, using "brass buckles, paint cans and anything they could get their hands on."
Police will only say "multiple people" are involved.
What Parker says happened next could make the fallout from the brutal beating even worse. As the attackers walked away, leaving Owen bleeding on the ground, Parker says one of them said "Now thats justice for Trayvon."

Apparently the group of about 20 black men who beat up one white guy were so stupid they didn't know Zimmerman was Hispanic. Or then again, maybe they did know and figured Hispanics don't have any 'white guilt'... and would go home, get their own baseball bats, and fight back.

The real good news about this story, if there is one, is that it will put to bed, forever, anything about blacks being in a lesser position in terms of wealth, education, achievement because of oppression by whites.
It will also solidify the need for things like eliminating affirmative action, voter identification, and other concerns such as these.
If this keeps up, as long as we keep our cool, it’s going to be a banner year for Republicans and real poor one for Democrats.
The MSM and NBC in particular love the violence - they did what they could to gin it up. I wonder how they feel knowing the kid might die and his sister got to watch the beating. I think it turns the creeps at NBC and the New York Times on - ya know what I mean... The press worked hard to get this kind of hatred going in the 'black community' playing with the tapes, lying about information. Ginning up hatred. They know their part - and played it well. Kinky little bastards.

It will be picked up by few blogs, tweeted, etc. but nothing will happen and only a tiny percentage of people will even know, much less care this even happened.

I emailed all local news stations and the local press. No one seems to care. No one replied.
I guess it does not make news when it happens to a white person.
All I have so far is pictures the police took and the police report.
I did ID who did it but since they are 17 the police say it is not likely that they will get any jail time even though the “youth gang” as they call them was responsible for 4 other racially motivated aggravated assaults within a 48 period of mine.

History and current times have shown they are incapable of maintaining a civil and technologically advanced society. All we have to do is look at any country in Africa. After they took over the infrastructures created by others have been allowed to collapse and now there is sewage in the streets. The once great cities look like they have been carpet bombed.
The small minority of them who have real educations are not allowed to run, build, nor maintain the infrastructures and education is frowned upon.
It has already happened here. Just look at Detroit. It is not just a function of Liberalism, it is a function of deep-seated culture. Other cities in the US are on the same trajectory as Detroit as they are taken over. Birmingham, Atlanta, etc..

I live about 6 miles from where Trayvon Martin was shot so have been paying close attention to the repercussions of the incident.
Until we met Rev. Wright I’d been living and working in a world where deep racial discord was past- or so I thought. My neighborhood, workplace and life in general is filled with people from a variety of backgrounds and races and I thought we met as equals. After listening and reading extensively during the time of Rev. Wright I found myself in an entirely foreign place and have had thoughts and fears since then that would never have crossed my mind.
This is a tough subject to understand. Certainly I see it in a new light than before. Before Rev. Wright, I operated on the assumption that everyone I met was an individual rather than a member of a “race” or tribe. It seems I was naive and now I’m confused and don’t HAVE a basic assumption anymore. It’s unsettling.
I’ve had my CCW for two years and only occasionally carried. Lately I ‘ve started to carry all the time....
Not only make a compilation of these incidents but publicize them while screaming at the top of our lungs. This is only going to get worse over the summer if we don't fight back.
I wonder if Holder would be as passive if a group of concerned whites put a bounty out on the monsters who perpetrated this horror on an innocent man? I wonder if the media would be as silent?

If it hadn’t been the complaint obout playing ball it would have been another excuse. Sounds like they were all local, shouldn’t be to difficult to find a couple sets of finger prints, if LEO wants to solve the crime.
Don't assume that basic attitudes were different before. It was probably just that some people felt it unwise to let people who were not of their group know how they really felt.
Assume that what you are now seeing was always there, but now the masks have come off.
