As recently as the 80’s, my husb would take “trade” in lieu of money, from many of his patients...He said it was about their Pride, not about his income! We recieved many a salmon or bucket of Dungeness crab or clams, and many a cord of wood in those days...so it was a WIN WIN

SInce the thread is so slow, I thought I would share this...Tonight I made the lad and myself a killer sirloin tip roast...2.5 lbs..and here is how ;-)
Combine 1/2 tsp each Cayenne, black pepper, thyme, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder. 1 1/4 TBSP Paprika, 1 TBSP sea salt and 2 TBSP olive oil—let it sit about 20 minutes or so...
Rub this all over a room temperature sirloin tip roast..bake at 350 for an hour...let it sit about 15 minutes then slice thin and eat with fresh grated horseradish (that part is just a family favorite,so OPTIONAL ;-)
Damn it was good!! ENJOY :-)
