SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. —
WFTV just learned Friday morning about a picture of gunman George Zimmerman, taken just three minutes after the shooting that left 17-year-old Trayvon Martin dead.
The picture reportedly shows cuts on the back of Zimmerman's head, with blood trickling down.
Zimmerman, who shot and killed 17-year-old Martin on February 26 in a gated Sanford community, claimed he killed Martin in self-defense. Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of Martin.
The picture would seem to back up Zimmerman's claim that Martin slammed his head against the sidewalk.
That picture could be part of the evidence shown to the judge in court Friday morning during Zimmerman's bond hearing.
ABC News is breaking more on this story on Good Morning America at 7 a.m. on Channel 9. We'll have more on Central Florida's TV 27 at 7 a.m.
Meanwhile, Trayvon Martin's parents will come face to face for the first time with Zimmerman on Friday.
Zimmerman is due in a Seminole County courtroom for a bond hearing at 9 a.m.
After a week and a half behind bars, Zimmerman may be walking out of jail to await trial on a second-degree murder charge.
The parents of 17-year-old Martin are expected in the courtroom during the bond hearing.
Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara will likely argue to Judge Kenneth Lester that Zimmerman is not a flight risk, pointing to fact that Zimmerman turned himself in immediately when charges were filed.
Judge Lester must decide if Zimmerman will be offered bond.

[Updated at 10:09 a.m. ET] O’Mara has called Dale Gilbreath, an investigator with the state attorney’s office, to the stand. Gilbreath is one of the investigators in the Martin shooting case.
Should we assume this is police evidence, taken with a responding LEO’s phone-cam?

In regard to Zimmerman going to stay with Jewel...he passed away in 2007.

If he is in solitary confinement, he is much safer than being released. He will not be able to hide from the racist animals who want him dead long before a trial ever takes place.
Yeah, the prosecution is going to have a hell of a time getting 12 people to convict with second degree murder. I bet they are drafting up a plea deal as we speak. Zimmerman should reject any and all offers of a plea, and ride this one straight to trial.

Poor Judge Lester. If he really believes it should not go to trial and rules as such, his life and his family’s life may well be in jeopardy. With Eric Holder at the helm, the Black Panthers are allowed to do anything.
My impression is of a guy who knows he’s being asked to prop up very shaky structure.
The investigator is answering questions regarding the choices made in affidavit wording, the choice to pick out two quotes from Zimmerman’s phone call which were both expletives , and to ignore/not use any of the many other words that Zimmerman spoke during that phone call to police that night.
Dale ( Dave?) Galbreath’s answers, for the most part:
I didn’t put that word in the affidavit.
I didn’t choose to put those expletive quotes in the affidavit.
I didn’t choose the word “profiled” over the words “saw, observed, noticed...”
I didn’t write the document... it was a collaborative effort.
But, yes, I did sign it and swear that it was true and accurate...

Zimm may not have feared for his life but understood the possibility of severe concussion and long term brain damage.
Zimmerman, knowing that he (himself) was armed, knew that if he lost consciousness, his attacker could then take his pistol and kill him with it. That would be a reason to fear for your life, in addition to having your head bashed on the concrete.
Especially the editing of the 911 call that made him seem racist.

You can bet on that. He'll be called every name in the book and every jaywalking ticket he ever wrote will be under the microscope. Everytime he got info from a hooker or a druggie will be construed into him buying whatever services.
I won't be waiting to read about the out pouring of apologies to Zimmerman from any of the big names who got all leg twingly painting him as a monster - Bill Cosby, Rosanne Barr, Spike Lee, Jerry Rivers, Jamie Fox, Mia Farrow, Will Farrell, MC Hammer, Diddy and other rappers, the Miami Heat team, the "reverends", US Congress, Dear Leader, etc.
He's hitting all the right buttons...and is very much in command presenting his case.

This pros is TRYING this case. This is just wierd for a bond hearing.

Now he’s crossing the “investigator” who didn’t write any part of the affidavit, apparently.
Asking him what proof or evidence there is that Zimmerman did not listen to the PD call taker when he told him he didn’t need to follow the suspicious person... none really, just supposition. But of course the investigator did not use that word.
And conveniently he does not recall the part of Zimmerman’s statement in which he says he was going back to his vehicle when he was attacked.
Does not recall. Well, that’s convenient. He can only recall things that make Zimmerman look like a murderer, but cannot recall any evidence or statements which might show innocence. Good little government railroad worker, he is. Railroad the white-hispanic with the cracked noggin.

The prosecutor is notoriouis for not doing plea bargans or making it very very difficult. She personally hates stand your ground laws. Gov. Scott’s kangaroo court blue ribbon committee is packed with those like minded anti-second people.
I doubt there will be any plea deal.
I suspect if the state fails to introduce anything more, they have nothing.

They had been trying to let the audience believe it was white on white. It was a shock to all when they showed her at the hearing and she was black. Her husband is white so she thought could pass off a white baby as theirs.
This is important regarding the defense’s contention this is not a stand your ground. If he gets this arrest tossed, they go back to ground zero again and would have to refile.
