Ted Cruz is the Paul “Obamacare Oral Argument God” Clement of Texas, the conservative who’s able to articulate CONSERVATISM in a clear way off-the-cuff.
I can’t speak to Dewhurst, although it is hardly surprising that the sitting governor endorses his own sitting LtGov. It would have been considered a big slap if Perry did otherwise, would it not?
Unfortunately, it looks like Dewhurst is holding a big (if slightly decreasing) lead in RCP poll averages.
