Yet another reason why Romney is a bad GOP nominee:

He says that there is a "vast left-wing conspiracy" (echoing Hillary's ridiculous past comments) to beat back his challenge of Obama, and has followed that by saying that Fox News is fair and balanced, providing "fair play," for his campaign.

But... BEFORE he said any of this this, Romney was caught saying that his campaign needed to reach out to moderates and independents because Fox News was the home of his "true believers."

Romney undermines his own campaign whenever he opens his mouth.

If he thinks he has trouble now, he’s going to be in real trouble when the media opens up on him with all guns.

As I said before, Romney consistently undermines his own campaign, always having to backtrack (as the Daily Caller pointed out today).

The GOP should have went with Newt or Santorum...

Mitt Romney says some seriously idiotic things and the media has kindly kept their mouths shut about it. That’s all about to end.

He has all the brains of Joe Biden and half the charm.

The moron came to Michigan and explained to us that the great lakes are fresh water and the ocean is salt water like we don’t know the difference.

Actually, the GOP made a huge mistake by not wholeheartedly embracing the tea party and Sarah Palin from the git go. They would have been swept into office coast to coast. Tea party enthusiasm was the best thing to hit conservatism and America since 1773, but the GOP shunned it. Too bad, so sad. GOP = Big Losers.

Yep.

But today it seems as if it was the Daily Caller to the rescue, though I could be wrong...

But they can’t protect him from the entire MSM.

If Romney did say that, he indeed has the brains of Joe Biden.

I would have loved to see Sarah Palin run for the nomination.

Once it was apparent that she was going to decline this, my first pick was Perry, but he wasn’t yet ready for prime-time. Perry is a good governor, but needs to work on his public speaking.

You are exactly correct. Romney is not just a disaster, he’s a daily disaster. How someone this stupid made all that money is utterly beyond me.

Not so sure about Santorum, he was inexperienced in dealing with MSM and was trapped too often in side issues such as contraception.

Newt on the other hand is experienced, shrewd, skilled orator. He would be far more effective president for change in the right direction.

With Romney, as presumptive nominee, he must be pushed, forced and pressured into the conservative direction. His tendency is to lurch to the center. However he is pliable and can be pushed to the right.

The Media won’t go after Mitt right now, they want to ensure that he wins the nomination outright before they begin their attack.

Figure his back operation had something to do with that. If you remember, all the debates Perry did were done standing. He’d start out strong, then get weaker and more distracted in his answers as the session wore on.

I too wish he had stayed in longer. Was for Perry - for personal reasons - long before I was for Newt.

Talk about GOP traitors...

A bunch of GOP Senators voted for this and its likely to pass the House too.

Now is the time to concentrate our efforts on pushing Romney to the right.

If your senator or governor has endorsed him, contact them and explain this to them.

Or any other person who’s endorsed him.

I think he’ll make a decent candidate if he understands that he cannot run as a moderate.

His wife is a great asset.
