This is good news! Jesse Kelly is a conservative businessman who favors a 10% tax rate for every American.

Kelly will be a superb congressman.

Surprisingly, Martha McSally finished second. She also has a strong resume, and hers was a seat of the pants, underfinanced effort..so she did very well. I hope she runs again, for something and/or they can find a spot for her in the next administration...maybe a DoD undersecretary, or possibly, head of the VA..

sounds like he will be going against the guy got shot twice ‘heroically protecting Gifford’...(or so it will be played in the campaign and the liberal press)

that is going to be a tough row to hoe(google Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy ).

Yes! I’ll be happy to send money to Kelly’s campaign. (Instead of the RNC or that RINO Romney)

Since the presidency is SNAFUed (barring a miracle), I’m using my donation power downticket on Congressional races.

If Jesse Kelly wins the special election, that will help him win in November in the redrawn (and renumbered) AZ-02 that is a couple of points less Republican than the current district. We got shafted by the AZ redistricting commission (why do we keep adopting those stupid things in Republican states?), but if Kelly can win in AZ-02 we will do no worse than a 5-4 GOP majority House delegation (and might get as much as a 7-2 GOP delegation).

Barber has little personality and not all the libbie men in love with him they way they were with Gabby. He’s just as much a leftist as Gabby was. I’m hoping it’s not a shoe-in. I heard about a poll that already showed Kelly winning vs. Barber... however, I don’t have a source for that (just heard it on the radio). Kelly actually won Election Day-only the last time, then only lost after a week of missing ballot counting (suspicious, imo). He has a lot of support and name recognition in Pima County.

Jesse Kelly win win the special election in AZ!!! Gabby, a close friend of nutcase Debbie Wasserman Schulz, is also a liberal lunatic at heart. Sorry for her unfortunate, terrible shooting and resulting hardship and pain.....but if Giffords is with Debbie and Obama, she is no friend of the American people, IMHO!!! And....neither are any of her left-wing cohorts!!! Go Jesse!!!

Yup, go Kelly! :0)

Barber, among others, could have prevented the shooting had he cared enough to ask for some security. All of them whined and howled at the sight of a gun at another event at the border, whined and howled about their safety for almost a year, then did nothing about it. And, it wasn’t even one of Gabby or Barber’s most hated tea partiers that did it.

Like both of those suggestions for McSally, who is also a strong candidate. Retired AF, isn’t she?

How nice it must have been to have a race with more than 1 worthy candidate.

McSally was a woman’s affirmative action pilot. I’ve never met anyone who worked with her who didn’t despise her. Deeply.

I couldn’t say that about any other female pilot in the USAF, so I don’t think it was just some male disgruntlement at work...
