I’m not shoveling the six feet of snow we had this time last year. How that is bad news escapes me.
Today is the hottest Tuesday I can remember in years. Except for when the Sun goes behind the clouds. That wind makes it a little chilly. All weather is local.
There has been no global warming for 15 years, but you wouldn’t know it if you only follow the MSM.

SE Texas is like a couple of years ago. Not too hot and not too cold. Unlike last year when it started out horribly dry and hot and just got worse all the way until about November.
The Grand Junction station I listen to keeps going on about snow pack missing and hot.
Maybe our heat of last summer is just moving west? That is consistent with my theory that seasonal weather patterns migrate from east to west.
North America has an unusually warm spring, how does this compare with, say, central and northern Europe, or central Asia? And what does this portend for the approaching winter in the SOUTHERN half of the planet?
Just because a firecracker has gone off under your own @$$ does not mean the whole world is blowing up.
What we have is a unusual shift in the weather patterns which circulate around the WHOLE world, not just in Denver, Colorado. Total overall warming and/or cooling over the entire earth’s surface will be little affected, and tends to be self-regulating over the course of the year, and the cycles of many years taken together.
Trees, grass and buildings will not spontaneously burst into flame. There will be an outbreak of mass hysteria in certain parts of “blue America”, however.

Right now here in sw Ohio the temp is about 50 with a rather stiff breeze. Jacket weather in mid April.
One thing I’ve learned in watching the weather for 60+ years: two weeks, or even a month, of above “average” temps will always, always be followed by two weeks of below average temps. It never fails. If we have April weather in March, we will have March’s weather in April. It’s how we get’averages’ in the first place.
Our mildd winter in most of North America has nothing to due with any kind of climate change whatsoever. This warmth has been the result of the fact that the Jet Stream never dipped south through the central and eastern US, like it usually does. The Artic and Atlantic Oscillations kept the Jet Stream far North over North America and above the Jet Stream in NA it was frigid...Alaska had a bitter winter, evn by their standards. The Jet Stream did dip south...over the Atlantic, and gave Europe and North Africa one of their coldest winters ever. They even had 6” of snow in the Tunisian Sahara.
