What is your problem?? This is the last time I will respond to you. His daughter was not in the hospital when he entered the race!!
He is not using her as a pawn either. He suspended his campaign months earlier when she was sick back in January or February. If he wanted to use her as a pawn he would not have suspended his campaign but rather put her picture on all his campaign material and advertisements.
Oh, I am sorry about your niece.
Santorum walks the walk on his pro-life convictions (as does Sarah Palin who did not abort Trigg with Down Syndrome as 92% of Americans do nowadays).
TrueDat but on the other hand Dole was a statesman and was well respected by his peers. One cannot say the same for Newt or Mitt.
It was said last week if Santorum might lose PA, he would drop out to spare him the humiliation and protect his place in line for the next contested GOP nominating cycle.
I'd like to believe this had more to do with Bela than his political aspirations.
I didn't say HE was. Never even thought about the possibility that a dad would use his sick daughter as a political pawn. You mean... I should start???
I agree with you on all points
Yes, it’s sad isn’t it.
It is, Doughty. And at this point, pitiful.
I don’t think Santorum had any fear of losing Pennsylvania. He could count and likely realized it was numerically impossible to catch Romney at the end of the process. Given how much he is needed by his family at the moment, he had to weigh the personal disappointment of giving up before he could compete in his home state vs. the toll his continued absence from home could have on his family.

Yes I agree. Surveying the crop of folks out there, I honestly don’t see a person I’d like to support these days.
None of them seem to have the slightest clue what Conservatism is, until they want to run for something?
“Oh, I did that, but it was more 72 hours ago...”
Ah, no thanks.
