It should read “obama asserts sharia law on American population, backlash to follow”. No point in sweating the details. We know where this guy is coming from, and we have the power to stop him, so let’s get to it.

The Constitution trumps presidential decree. The US Constitution is the law of the land, period. If any of the three branches of government willfully violate any of the conditions set forth by the US Constitution, then those parties are subject to discipline under the checks and balances system. The checks and balance system is designed to keep all parties involved in line, according to the Constitution. Those who choose to violate those truths will do so at their own peril, because the Constitution gives us the right to redress our greivances, it dosen’t specify how we’ll address them, and that could get really ugly, real fast.

Hopefully, our Constitution is strong enough to keep Sharia or any other religion out of our government.

The Constitution is roughly based on Judeau-Christian values, and on english common law. The concept is that you are free to believe in the faith of your choice, so long as you don’t try to force your brand on religion on another person, or that your religion seeks to usurp power through overthrowing or undermining Constitutional law. It’s all good and eveyone is happy as long as everyone plays by the rules.

Don’t forget that England had “state religion” at the time our founders came here. After watching the wars and bloodshed that competing state religions (Catholic vs. Anglican) had over the years they wisely decided to keep it completely out of our government through the Constitution. Values are not the same as religion as people who consider themselves Ethical Culturists or Secular Humanists will often point out, not to mention Buddists and Confuscianists. All of these groups have guidelines/rules for right living and right relating.

This is GREAT!

Trump Explains Dumbo Care.

So Far No one has summed it up better than Trump.

Let me get this straight . . .
We’re going to be “gifted” with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don’t, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it, passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes, for which we’ll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke!!!!!

‘What could possibly go wrong?’

Thanks, that concept isn't lost on me. The concept I'm thinking of is that you are free to believe what you want, so long as it doesn't step on anybody else’s toes. There will always be differences in opinion, and especially in matters of religion, the founding fathers saw that, and acted accordingly. So believe what you want, you won't be persecuted for that, as long as you don't violate the laws of the land.

Smile

Yes indeed

But it seems like checks and balances are not working. And the right of “redress” is vague in the extreme. We have a right of redress but they don’t have to answer.

So

When all else fails what do we do?
