And so you support Romney who lost by only 17% points when he ran for the Senate in 1994. By the way, Rick lost in a terrible year for Republicans (2006), when the GOP lost both the House and the Senate, while Romney lost in 1994, when the GOP flipped both houses of Congress. Good job Romney!! By the way, Santorum beat an incumbent Democrat in 1994 while Mitt was running to the left of Ted Kennedy and getting killed. But we need to vote for Romney over "St Rick" because Romney is so much more electable, right?

Your numbers are far off.

Santorum is winning Reagan Democrats in Northern Wisconsin (Obama won most of these counties in 2008). These are heavily white, working class voters. This includes Brown County (Green Bay).

Santorum is also slightly winning Dane County (Madison), largely because he is very strong with younger voters (UW-Madison).

If you think that 4% of voters can flip major metropolitan counties, you are very mistaken.

What makes Romney so acceptable to you? You bash Santorum for his occasional stray from conservative orthodoxy yet you support a pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro big-healthcare liberal?

Nahh, Santorum just thinks that he’s running for the second coming of Christ.

I voted for Newt also.
I don’t trust Romney and I despise Santorum.

Exactly what I did and think.
I have nothing personal against Santorum except his bald faced lie that he is the most conservative. I have examined his voting record in US Senate and all I found was his yes votes on spending and no votes on spending cuts. If he is conservative, I can beat Tiger Woods in a 18 hole match every time.

I'm not giving up on Santorum....

..just the Republican party

I'll see this through.....but I'm disgusted with their obvious stealing of this election....I'm disgusted with ALL of them....Rove... MANY at Fox news, ie Brett, Brit, etc.....Coulter, Drudge, too many to name...oh and RYAN....Paul Ryan, what a disappointment, just unbelievable.
I can't stand to see his face again.

Mitt,
We will never support you. Peddle your brand of socialism, global warming, gun grabbing statism elsewhere. I would expound upon why you are disgrace to conservatives and the GOP, but there is no reason to continue to beat a dead horse. You may have bought your way to the GOP nomination, but you will NEVER find support from true conservatives.

Never mind that Michael Moore told people to vote for St Rick during the Michigan primary.. Also I’m seeing a lot Democrats advocating to vote for St Rick.. Not talking about the Reagan Democrats either.. Also the Reagan Democrats is just about gone..

You are correct in that Romney does not enthuse voters to come out. But then why are conservative voters NOT turning out in droves to vote for the “real conservative”, Santorum? Very baffling?

Don’t think it’s fair to blame Palin supporters. Did her not running hurt Rick Perry from opening up a huge lead over Romney and then insulting the base over immigration and then falling apart worse than that skier in the wide world of sports video during that debate? Did she have anything to do with that?

Anything to do with Cain then opening a lead over Romney and ending up exposed as a possible fraud with who knows how many skeletons in the closet?

Anything to do with Newt then opening up a big lead over Romney and imploding and then reopening a big lead over Romney and falling apart again? She have anything to do with Newt choking in the 2 FL debates when he had the chance to close the deal and finish Romney?

Anything to do with Santorum getting his moment and his big lead over Romney and then talking about all these social issues that no one cares about and saying how JFK made him want to throw up and all this other stuff?

Face it. A bunch of guys all had their chances. They all had their moment in the sun and their leads over Romney and they all wilted. None of that was her fault. She announced in early October. That was plenty of time for her supporters to come to terms and find someone else.

As for your 2nd point about not following the 2010 formula I agree with you. I’d just add that the 2010 formula isn’t as easy when unemployment is at 8.3% and dropping instead of being at 9.8% and climbing. Bit of a difference there. There’ve been 3M+ new jobs since the 2010 election. That makes a difference and makes it harder to run against the eocnomy.

And if we pray hard enough we might just win.

Repent of our many sins, fast and pray. What is our Country worth to us? Have we finally learned that life isn't about minding our own business and having as many good times as we can? It is a battle between good and evil and the outcomes are eternal. We are called to be soldiers in the army of God.

I was for Bachmann and Cain. I was not for Newt except for about a two week period just because he seems to be Anybody but Mittens candidate. But I think Newt was not the best candidate in the field. Newt didn’t win many states so obviously people agreed with me in the states where Santorum won. Look I liked that Newt is attacking Romney but I still recall what people felt like when he endorsed Dede Scozzafava.
But I am for Anybody But Romney except Ron Paul.

"I really don’t care about his Religion.."

More foolishness. Apparently you're uninformed about Mormonism in general, and about Romney's position in the church and his belief in pseudo-political Mormon prophecies and his imagined role in them.

Also, like a Freeper said earlier, this is the first time that neither Presidential candidate will be a Christian. You SHOULD care about your man's religion if you care whether God blesses this nation.

I share your disappointment, particularly with Ryan, Rubio, and DeMint but no matter who lines up on that side, I won’t.

Hang in there and if Romney’s it in the end, we’ll know we did everything in our power to stop him.

EVERY candidate has their baggage. Newt has his global warming and heathcare problem and women issues. Romney is completely out of the question though. I would feel like I would be helping an abortionist if I vote for Romney. I will NEVER vote for him.

Santorum became increasingly more conservative as the years went by, and was far more conservative as a Senator representing the entire state than he had been as a Republican Congressman representing the heavily Democratic 18th District. His Lifetime Senate ACU average is 92.1%.

His 12 Senate ACU ratings year-by-year:

‘95-—83%
‘96-—95%
‘97-—84%
‘98-—84%
‘99-—88%
‘00-—100%
‘01-—100%
‘02-—95%
‘03-—90%
‘04-—96%
‘05-—92%
‘06-—96%

True believer, we have to show some sensitivity for these people. They have selective memory, and they are desperate. Tomorrow I fear they will begin to exhibit symptoms of PTSD........post traumatic Santorum disorder.

Wasserman-Schultz is one of the most shameless individuals in the Dem party, and that’s saying a lot. I could hear her yapping over my shoulder as I was typing, but I didn’t pay attention to what she was saying.

Santorum is winning Reagan Democrats

Bahahahaha! The “Reagan Democrats” became Republicans 25 years ago. The Democrats voting for Santorum are big government big labor Democrats that are dissatisfied with Obama.
