HB1033: Tracing the Financial Outlines of Socialism in Hawaii

HB 1033, the so-called "Clean Energy Bank" allows for a politically appointed board with only a minority of token ex-bankers on a board dominated by political hacks, union bosses, and profitable nonprofits...

Rallying at the capitol March 20 for HB1033, creating a State-owned 'clean energy' bank, Governor Neil Abercrombie was joined by self-described communist, ousted Obama Administration ‘Green Jobs‘ Czar Van Jones.

As Jones strode to the podium, the Chicago-style ‘community organizer’ swept away all the soothing references to North Dakota used to foist its one of a kind state-owned bank on Hawaii. Taking the microphone, Jones bellowed:

“...the American fantasy... is turning out to be the American nightmare. It is dying out on its own accord - it deserves no defense and it will get no defense. I am glad that is going away."

Hawaii looking seriously at a state-created bank to fund green industries and even buy up mortgages. It's the socialist's dream. Guv Abercrombie and Rep Hirono both are members of the Socialist Party of America (Hirono is one of the vice-chairs). Van Jones brought in to speak at a rally. One of the organizers, Drew Astolfi, is a longtime community organizer in Hawaii whose background parallels Obama's and Ayers' etal.

Wow.

One could not think of a better way to spell “fail” than that state created bank.

Good luck, commies.

Heh!

Does Hawaii still have only one Repub in the state legislator?

This would be a nightmare if the Dems pass it.
