Hello everyone-
Very scary day over here. My 39 yr old wife suffered an instaneous, out of the blue headache this morning and collapsed. Apparently this is referred to as a "thunderclap" headache, and at the ER she later began exhibiting signs of seizure: right side of her body wouldn't respond, and she could not answer some basic questions- though later she told me that she knew the answers, but could not make her mouth form the words.
Nikki is now feeling better, and has recovered her speech and motor functions completely. They've ruled out aneurism,'hemorrageand stroke; However, the doctors have discovered 2 centimeter abnormality on her brain- either a tumor, or possibly a lesion (due to MS maybe?). We meet with several neurologists tomorrow morning and are at the hospital tonight.

Mills, Our youngest had migraines, then as a teen had some other strange symptoms. An MRI showed spot on his brain described as a lesion, but fortunately the Neurologist said “NO” that it was just a spot of “old” damage and not causing his problems. Long story short...his brain was fine and it was his heart causing his problems. It is a hole called a PFO, Patent Foramen Ovale. Actually, they are very common and the hole patch is relatively easy compared to so many other things. Just mentioning this.....hoping and praying for her and all gets figured out.
Mills, Forgot to mention...Our son temporarily lost his ability to speak and lost control of one of his hands while at school.
Since the patch was put in about 7 years ago, I don’t think he has experienced another migraine.

I will pray for you and your dear wife, Mills. Keep up hope though-My aunt was found to have 3 brain tumors some months ago. She had rounds of chemo and now they are GONE. God Bless!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has sent along their kind wishes and prayers. I showed my wife this morning and although she is always one to shun extra attention, but she is very, very grateful for your actions. We know the Lord is in control and will continue to pray.
As for updates, no news yet from the neurologists. Haven’t seen them actually, which is frustrating. Will post news when it comes, but until then, let me just thank each of you again and God bless you.
