How can JesseJackson and AlSharpton be called Reverend?

Posted on 03/31/2012 12:33:28 PM PDT by kas7351

It truly amazes me as to how anyone call either of these men Reverend, considering how they act, tell lies and create race wars?

Shouldn't a REVEREND ACT like a Man Of God?

Come on man.
For about twenty bucks you too can get a license as a minister in some crappola “church”.
Get tax relief and have the ladies call you preacher man.

I saw article the other day calling Malik Shabazz a reverend, LOL.

I guess reverend (when used by the media) is a synonym for race baiting pig anymore. Sure seems that way.

Question: "How can JesseJackson and AlSharpton be called Reverend?"

Response: They are called reverend solely to increase their credibility among the thoughtless. The same principle applies when MLK is called "Doctor."

Dimwitted people are easily impressed with titles, so it stands to reason that a titled moron has more influence upon untitled morons.

Jackson spent 2 1/2yrs at Chicago Theological Seminary and then left and worked in the civil rights movement.
In 2000, the seminary gave him his Master’s degree in divinity, saying that he’d earned it because of all the work he’d done in his life.

“Sharpton dropped out of Brooklyn College after two years and has had no additional higher education or formal seminary training since….” (Frontpage mag. 2009)

Chicago Theological Seminary didn't do its job. All Masters Degree Candidate normally have to complete a Masters Thesis ans then defend it before a panel, and if deemed acceptable by the panel only then is the Masters Degree granted. Not for “Community activist work.”

Then... Community activist work is the Chicago way to get your street creds.

If you’ll pardon the pun, they both seem to be cut from the same cloth.

Jesse has his love child. I believe the baby’s momma got paid off through one of Jesse’s campaign funds.

Rev. Al cheated on his wife using his presidential fund for expensive hotels and lavish living and got caught by the Mrs. And the FEC. The wife left “Big Daddy” while the FEC made him return $100,000!

Yep, two morally superior, upstanding members of the community. Well, except for not being able to keep “it” in their pants!

Let’s not forget Rev. Wright. These guys are men of hate and full of themselves. God isn’t a part of their lives. And basically, they aren’t really men...more like whores.

Your earlier post and the one to which I’m replying are proof that both are fakes.

I’ll bet you’re right. I hadn’t thought of that before. Being a “reverend” helps keep the IRS off of their @$$.
