If he can't even muster enough support at this stage of the game to be far ahead of Obama, where do you think his poll numbers will be when the MSM and Obama get done using Romney's own left-wing Progressive Liberal record against him?
This poll has set the tone for your comments. THIS POLL IS A LIE so don’t let it set your tone! You cannot believe ANY poll coming from CNN.
Exactly why, when the nominee is decided on, all Republicans need to pull together, along with Democrats that are jumping ship and get Obama out of office before he totally takes over this country and hands it to Russia or the Middle East.
Where’s the “Like” button?
Yeah, just like the poll between Reagan and Carter said Reagan would lose by double digits. Polls now are useless. It’s really going to be a matter of whether people want 4 more years of 0bama.
Cindie
You agree that the poll is both a fraud and a total lie, and then get your pubic hair caught in the rear axle of a Volt.
Why get so worked up over what you know to be absolute bullshit?
Go get a good cigar and a nice 12 year old scotch, kick off your shoes, throw the recliner back, listen to Rush {or some good music}, smoke and sip and relax.
A laughable pathetic lie.
Well if we’re going to nominate a RINO who can’t articulate authentic conservatism, we can’t be surprised if Obama kicks our ass again.
Survey of adults which means meaningless poll. This type of garbage is to sway public opinion and suppress turnout for the GOP.
Thanks a lot GOP Establishment.
Did you bother to even read the article you posted? This is a poll of “adults”, not likely voters or even registered voters. You owe it to the rest of us to put a barf alert in the title.
hmmmm..a CNN poll. The Gallop poll shows a different picture.

I hear ya, and we are getting ‘McCained’ by the media again, but don’t place any value on a CNN poll.
I don’t think that Romney can beat 0bama.
I don’t think *ANY* of the current Republican “frontrunners” can beat 0bama.
We need someone to mobilize the base, to stoke our zeal, to give us genuine hope. Someone who speaks like they know what they’re talking about. Someone who is still able to admit mistakes and *LEARN* from from them.
Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah! Draft Sarah!
This is exactly why we need to rally around an actual conservative candidate who can articulate conservatism to the common people - whether this person is a Republican or otherwise.
This is just the latest of many showing how weak Romney is against Obama.
Yep. Nearly across the board, Obama is dusting Romney head to head nationally, and the margin is more pronounced in critical swing states. Recent polls show even my own state of Virginia, sad to say, has somehow decided it has a renewed crush on Obama. Santorum and Gingrich aren't going to catch Romney, so the only flickering hope for November is an open GOP convention. I suspect, though, the estabs will squelch that possibility.
And, oh, by the way, the GOP e's ill-thought strategy of softpeddling the moderates and indies by sacrificing the Presidential election in favor of vying for control of the Senate isn't going too well either. GOPers are only a firm +2 or at best +3 at present.
1. Implemented and supported Gay Marriage
2. Supported and forced Gay Adoption
3. Supported the Brady Bill
4. Implemented a state-level “Assault” Weapons Ban AFTER the Federal AWB was allowed to expire.
5. Supported TARP
6. Believes in Man-Made Global Warming.
7. Supported a state level Cap-and-Trade system in MA.
8. Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens (pathway to citizenship)
9. Raised taxes/fees by 300% while governor of MA.
10. Implemented a Socialist Health-Care program in MA called RomneyCare with $50 dollar Abortions and an Individual Mandate.
All of which makes me want to puke when I read of erstwhile “conservatives” lining up to endorse Romney. Why they stake their credibility on a sure loser is wayyy beyond me.
