I just saw a “crawl” on Fox that the court ruled 5-4 that strip searches can be allowed for any offense even if there’s no suspicion of contraband. Kennedy wrote the majority decision saying the court should not second guess the correctional authorities.
Was the case about prison searches? I hope so.
This has gone on long enough.
The Orange County Register is a legitimate newspaper. I used to work for a smaller newspaper in the same chain. Either Landsbaum is doing something wrong, in which case he needs to be told to stop doing it, or he's following the rules, in which case the people complaining need to be told to stop doing that.
Would the Admin Moderator please issue a ruling so this back-and-forth can end?
