(RAEFORD) – The pre-K teacher involved in the “chicken nuggets” incident in Hoke County changed her version of what happened after undergoing three separate interrogations. Margaret Maynor was brought to tears in the third session. She submitted her resignation soon after.

In a highly unusual move, the Hoke County School System released documents from the teacher’s personnel file purportedly showing why the pre-K instructor resigned.

Previous articles reported some students with homemade lunches were given trays of school food because their bag lunches didn’t meet federal nutrition standards. One girl didn’t touch her homemade lunch and just ate three school chicken nuggets.

I don’t feel the least bit sorry for her. She’s a non-thinking tool of the left.

"I just read the reviews of “Hunger Games.” My 14-year-old is going to see it today. We like anti-government messages ;-)."

If you can, go along with her or see it another time. The film's appeal is broader than just teens. I went yesterday and about half of the audience was probably over 21, some a lot older.

Knowing or suspecting what goes into the making of chicken nuggets, I would have mighty hungry to eat one.

This "teacher" just learned a lesson the hard way many more will learn on down the road: When the Socialists' use for you is over,one way or the other, they dispose of you. But, that is what the majority of those that voted said, via their votes, they want. they now have it.

She was only doing her job, its all the damn rules and regulations that have to be stopped. Its not about the kids getting to fat it’s about how the Agriculture department is in bed with the department of education. If it was about fat kids there wouldn’t be a rule that Kids in NC grade school can only move around and be physical for so many minutes a week. If they play kick ball because they earned it they can not do gym class.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

This posted comment is what caught my attention. Children are no longer allowed to play or have recess? They can’t both play and have gym? And that is on top of not being allowed much more than a sedate walk around the play ground with no swings, slide, monkey bars, teeter totter, or merry-go-round. Is there no realization on the part of the liberals that children do not grow up properly with out some scrapped knees and elbows?

Another reason why I do not like pre-k. Children become indoctrinated by the state at 4 years old and their parents are made to toe the line or else. I remember when my daughter was 4, about 20 years ago. I thought pre k was like a play school and I sent her. The local public school district had a pre k program which enrolled children based on income. We qualified and I thought it would be a fun thing for my daughter to participate in. Although my daughter did enjoy it at times, there were instances when I kept her home so that she could do things with me. I had no idea that it was mandatory for her to attend. One day I was giving her a bath in preparation for a birthday party we were attending later that day. Someone came to my front door and it was the school Social Worker looking to gain access to my home. I asked her why she was there and she told me that the principal suggested she make a home visit since my daughter had been absent a lot. I said to the Social Worker that my daughter was only 4 years old and if I wanted to keep her home, I would. Wrong answer. She kept insisting on coming in, and I kept refusing. I then called the school and spoke to the principal who continued to insist that she had the right to investigate student absences. I was shocked beyond words and felt violated. It was then that I realized how much we give up of our own freedom when we start our children too early in the government schools.

Sounds like the principal and superintendent are offering this teacher up as a scapegoat when in fact the state and school system put her in the position of having to police her student’s food because of their left-wing Michelle Obama “Let’s Move” food Nazi nonsense. It was an untenable situation.

“Pre-K huh? I didn’t realize that cradle to grave indoctrination was fully in force in our country. I thought it would be fully implemented after the election of 2012.”

Here in my area we had a lot of public school districts expand to full day pre-K just in time for the towns and state to run out of money. Some closed their programs, while others now charge parents separately for it; for a brief moment in time the teachers’ unions had swelled their ranks, then reality set in.

I couldn’t imagine what children are like after being raised from 3 to 18 by unionized state representatives (between the before- and after-care programs and such); very creepy...

This comment by a "Steve Rutledge" below the story is very interesting:

Look lets be honest, we all screwed up by voting Obama in office. We wanted so badly to right the wrongs of yesterday, however it has been clear for some time that we have all been taken advantage of. So what do we do about it? FIRST OF ALL WE DON’T VOTE DEMOCRAT IN NOVEMBER. Second, for my own sake it feels better to be honest and admit I was wrong. Try it, it is the only way to break that sense that you have been part of the lie. Third, I’m encouraging friends to actually vote conservative to teach a lesson to those that used our good intentions to take away our freedoms.

Here in NJ children don’t have to attend school until 1st grade; in your case I could see them expecting attendance because another child could have used that seat for a full year. They probably should have been clear about that when you first enrolled her; you may have opted not to at that point. In your case I would have just removed her entirely.

I had an administrator ask me about one of my children when we enrolled him for kindergarten; she asked if he had been to a dentist, and I asked her if that was a requirement (I know some innoculations are). She evaded the question, and I told her I knew it wasn;t a requirement and we would raise our own children.

I think in NJ there is additional pressure on public schools to involve themselves in social work bullsh!t because people want to know why employees earn $80K+ for 180 days of part-time work, so they pretend they do more than they really do (image is everything).

In the days of my misspent youth this expression was heard many times:

The younger the kids, the better the teachers.

If this is still true, heaven help us in this day and time.

——when they’re 12 or so, they might LoL at this immense woman lecturing them about proper nutrition ... and then they might question Michelle Obama’s moral authority, and then where would we be?-—

LOL Reminds me of Mart Groenig’s “School is Hell.”

“Have to keep you little monsters off the streets for the next 12 years, now open your books to page one, and let’s begin.”

She’s just another commie teacher mis-educating our youth.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
And Bill Ayers can be thanked for that. He was the long term president of the Education professors association and their avowed purpose was to foster a marxist mind set among as many public school teachers as possible and they in turn, on orders, to foster that same marxist mind set in children. Isn’t that ever so special?

No one past the local citizens should have any say concerning the school, who they hire to teach, what is taught, school hours or when they attend. If the local people want three two month vacations during the year that is their prerogative.
