Chile actually has the most advanced, most free, and least corrupt economy in South America. It should come as no surprise that they can afford an air force.

Actually, they’re not. Some of the really clear ones are truly spectacular. They are also fake. Bluring it up with a shaky camera makes it more “real”.

They are getting so good at it that the only thing I “believe” is the crop circle thing. A lot are fake, but a lot are simply without logical explanation. And they are real. You can touch them and many have.

I’m not sure which is more amazing, the claims that the photos/video is “amazing” (clear as mud) or how unconcerned, unquestioning, unexhited, unamazed the people in the video seem to be.

No wonder, whether true or not, so many people think that those who believe in UFOs are nuts; the “evidence” is always so, so very much underwhelming.

Recall Chile’s flirtation with Marxist socialism, under Allende? They reformed their government along free-enterprise lines, and those reforms are the reason Chile is outperforming its neighbours. Natural resources help — but, they are not a panacea. Consider Venezuela.
