His response was to a question connecting him to what was then a Republican governor who was doing poorly. He was running against her in the Republican primary until she dropped out. They were trying to stick all the baggage of her administration on him. Romney wasn’t a Republican party insider, so in fact, his connection was that he was registered as a Republican, and he wanted to bring a new administration in to run the state, not more of the same old crap that his predecessor had been doing.

I think people are grasping at straws on this one. I have read many comments from Freepers saying the exact same thing over the years, distancing themselves from the Republican establishment. How many of us rip up RNC donation request we get in the mail? Nearly All of us.

Crapola! Show us where ANY conservative values are in his administration? The best he could come up with in the debate - He is married to the same person and has 5 kids! See if you can find ANYTHING that he hasn’t. HE IS A LIBERAL ALL THE WAY! In fact, more like Socialism - I know liberals and they don’t believe in the crapola HE PUSHED THROUGH as governor.
His record SPEAKS - because when he does he LIES.
