Whitney Houston had cocaine in her system when she died -- this according to the L.A. County Coroner.
The L.A. County Coroner has just released the singer's official cause of death -- accidental drowning ... but the report also notes heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors to Whitney's demise.
A source connected to the investigation tells us it is "very possible" Whitney had a heart attack that caused her to lose consciousness and drown. The heart attack may have been triggered by hardening of the arteries as a result of cocaine use.

I get that feeling, also. Her first autopsy said not enough water in the lungs to produce a drowning. Like she died of ‘whatever’ first and then went under.

I read where he showed up with 9? other people and the invite for was for ‘one’ person only. He knew that but he’s bobbie!! So he paid his respects and left. But who knows what really went down.

The causes of death are accidental, natural, homicide, suicide and unknown. The death was accidental because they didn’t find evidence of homicide or a suicide. The difference between the two is, did she intend to die? Probably not since she was habitually using cocaine. Taking a bath while doing so is stupid but doesn’t change the cause.

This should put the dangers of cocaine use front and center and cause persons to seriously weigh the dangers its use puts on their coronary vascular system.
Whitney Houston went through several rehab programs to stop her cocaine use. What contributed to the failure and how can such programs be made to have more success?

If she had been on the streets doing tricks for money to buy crack, then “crack ho” would be accurate. Otherwise she was a “crack addict.”
Usually speed freaks, meth heads and coke whores use phenergan, flexeril, marijauna, xanax , alcohol or benadryl to get to sleep. They use them in large quantities and in combination. I'll bet she zonked out , fell asleep and just drowned like a little kid.
It's a shame but not a surprise. That's what drug addicts do.... they die.
