The Exec.Order allows the nationalization of pretty much the entire USA even in peacetime if he desires. They can, under this order, restrict civilian travel by any mode, including (probably) foot travel. They can ration food. They can restrict water usage, even from private wells. They can ration any and all drugs, including OTC and vitamins. They can collectivize farms. They can take over all energy production, including home solar units. It also allows for drafting civilians. If they have need of your skills, they can compel you to work for no compensation. All this not in a time of war, but in time of “National Emergency” (several EO national emergency states already in place) or even in Peacetime

Or maybe he is just testing the water to see how stupid and gutless we really are. He has been purposely abusing the legislature and the judiciary to see how much he can get away with and they have just been taking it and whimpering like whipped dogs.

They WILL do EVERYTHING because nobody will stop them.
There is no collective courage.
There is no opposition leadership.
Nobody willing to combat him in the Congress or the courts.
This will all be managed from afar, with no need for troops in the street.
You will have nobody to confront, or fight.
You will simply find your supply lines cut and means of communication very limited.
Governmental things done in secret like this have no good in them whatsoever.

Good grief people, this is being blown all out of proportion. Hussein didn’t sign anything “that allows him to take over all our liberty’s”.
This is the same EO that’s been in place since 1994 and apparently amended several times since.
Obama made some minor changes, as Bush did previously, but otherwise there is simply nothing here to get excited about.
Now we are doomed to endless, dopey conspiracy theories about this instead of focusing on the real economic issues Obama wants to avoid discussing.
