Pap smears? Mammograms? Prostate exams? Not under Obamacare

Slowly but surely the truth is coming out about Obamacare: Conservatives were right.

Conservatives said Obamacare would cost trillions. Our intellectual and moral superiors on the left sneered.

The CBO reported this week that Obamacare will cost nearly $1.8 trillion in the first 10 years alone — nearly double what Democrats said it would cost. And instead of reducing the deficit, Obamacare will increase the deficit.

Conservatives said Obamacare would cost people their health insurance. Our intellectual and moral superiors on the left sneered.

The CBO reported this week that Obamacare already has cost 4 million people their health insurance.

Conservatives said there would be less health care under Obamacare.

This week, MSNBC reported:

Most women can go as long as five years between cervical cancer screenings as long as they make sure to get both a Pap smear and an HPV test when they do get examined, a government panel said Wednesday.

The interval between cervical cancer screenings can safely be extended for women between the ages of 30 and 65, according to the new recommendations from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.

It's definitely a convergence of Obama's secret war on women and the death panel option.

I think $9 per gallon gasoline is going to tip these guys over like Gurnsey's in a rocky field.

Be very afraid of the government and learn to grovel for small favors the bureaucrats give out. Control the masses. Retribution for past grievances for the protected class. Fundamental transformation.

No one speaks of the fact that there are NOT enough doctors to care for all the new demands in care. So what if you have a card that says you are insured thru OCare. There will not be enough physicians to render that care. Many doctors who are taking on the liability for medical care for a $12.00 reimbursement from MedCal here in CA will throw in towel or have gone bankrupt Medicare is taking the same hit with many physicians NOT taking new patients. Obamacare is really NO medical care.

And it said doctors should stop teaching women to examine their breasts on a regular basis.

That makes sense, because the women might find a lump or something else wrong and want to see a doctor before their next scheduled visit,( possibly a year or more away), and it would lead to cluttering up the system with more frequent visits.
Patients will have to learn to wait their turn. - tom

I guess my timing is about right I’ll find out soon if I have prostrate cancer.

You can have it, and it may not be detected in the biopsies because they missed the infected area. But not to worry if you have it, the cancer will spread, and eventually they will detect it.

This is not meant to discourage you only to alert you to the fact a negative reading may mean you don't have it or , it hasn't spread into the areas of where the biopsies are taken.
High PSA readings are not always a sign of cancer either.

In any event Obama's death panels won't have any trouble deciding how to treat the elderly with prostate cancer: Remove the prostate about $30,000 -radiate it, (42 days) about $175,000 . Good Luck, to all of us. - tom
