"People over 65 in Alabama seem to be going for Romney......UGH! Why? "

1) They watch Broadcast network TV

2) They think Romney will make fewer changes, therefore, they are less likely to lose their SS check.

Polls that look good to napscoordinator are not necessarily a good thing.

Why? I like Santorum and he is doing well in at least one state. I know you might like him but he is extremely conservative as proof of all the states he has won.

How do they give any accurate results with only 1% of the vote in????

Only Butler and Franklin Counties reporting so far. And in Franklin, Santorum has 73% of the vote (probably 7 people). Must be an Alabama coal mining town!

Older people might be less ideological in mindset and Romney is the candidate with the least threatening public persona who also incidentally talks about increasing social security, securing the safety net etc. Never will be a Mitt supporter but I can still see the attraction.

CNN is still selling the "electability" snake oil.

RNC, listen carefully. Mitt Romney will NOT be my candidate for President -- period.

I have to confess, I’m not watching. This thread will be my only news. It’s masochistic to subject myself to the roller coaster ride they put us through right before they go ahead and steal the election.

I’m watching CNN. Refuse to watch Faux.

Santorum was on Kilmeade's radio show today and accused Foxnews of being in the bag for Romney! About time somebody said it! Of course, Kilmeade, the biggest Romney cheerleader at Foxnews, denied it! Been pretty apparent to me that Fox is in the bag for Romney and I scream at the TV every morning when Kilmeade speaks. Ah, but I'm just a southern commoner!

Hey Onyx! Good to see ya! I thought I'd better say something nice after my rant! I'm glad I got it off my chest. Mrs. BB1 says hello!

I am a Mississippian from a lineage dating to Natchez 1794 and pre statehood Indian treaties

I am ashamed and apologize to everyone if these exit polls stand

For a state where whites vote 90% GOP these days i am without words

We have let everyone down.

Just seems to be how this primary is going...depressing all around from FOX to GOPE to our pundits and now Dixie

I need a drink...and i don't drink

I have no explanation

If the God Offal Parasites nominee is Romney I want to see Newt join Sarah in a third party!

Don't care which is on top.

If Romney wins either state you need to call for a recount, because pigs are about to fly. Now sane southerner will vote for a New England liberal who is pro-abortion and pro-homo marriage. If they do, they have either lost all their sense, have no sense, or have drank the koolaid. They will be the laughing stock of the South.
