I haven't gone to Drudge since Bloody Thursday. He is a pig.

Aren't two of Mitts operatives now working for Drudge? The elites are trying to cram Mitt down our throats. I will have the great pleasure of writing in Sarah's name in Nov.

Never again will I vote for Statists. Mitt is a total fraud.

“Also, Dick Morris makes sense when he says that the Republicans MUST choose their nominee long before their convention in September in order to have enough time to defeat the Democrat Party Machine.”

You sure that it’s not the Democrat Party Machine that needs enough time to defeat the Republican Nominee? The sooner they can pick the target, freeze it, and defeat it, the better off Barack and Co. will be. Too bad most Republican voters won’t realize this until after Romney is nominated. “Mitt Romney, you have to nominate him, in order to find out what’s in him”?

Both MS and AL are open. HI is closed. Bummer.

And while so many in the Santorum and Gingrich camps on Free Republic are so damn consumed with throwing grenades at each other, I’ve been trying to warn folks that Romney is polling surprisingly strong in Alabama and Mississippi and could sneak up and win one or both of these Deep South primaries tonight. I’d then get told I don’t know what I’m talking about as the in-fighting continues. Well, reality may rear it’s ugly head tonight and if Romney does win any of the Deep South states, then it’s game over because he’ll finally have a case that he can win in any part of the country and will become the inevitable nominee.

I’m surprised he’s giving out the network exit results. I thought a few years ago it was agreed that no one would talk about exit poll results (as far as winners and losers) until the polls closed.

Drudge has no rules. For all we know he is making the entire thing up, to influence people in the final hours of voting. Drudge is out of control; there is no journalistic integrity remaining. Much of the “conservative” media has become just like the MSM when it comes to attempting to dictate outcomes.

I do not get this convention crap, whoever walks into the convention with the biggest number will win. Tell me when it did not happen.

Looks like Newt is ensuring that Romney will win by splitting the Conservative vote.

Drudge is trying to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Drudge has become just another arm of the Romney campaign. It’s embarrasing.

Maybe you simply don't understand exit polls? Drudge is simply posting what pretty much every network already has. They ALL already know these 5PM results because the data is shared among them from the same source. The difference is the networks won't generally talk about them - instead they use them to make projections and to show why a candidate won or lost after the fact. Would you prefer going back to the days we were kept in the dark about information the establishment media already has?

I don’t think so. As long as we hold a filabuster in the Senate, we can contain Obama until 2014, retake the House in 2014 (and the Senate too), and win the Presidency in 2016 with a much deeper slate.
Romney will NOT repeal Obamacare, build the Keystone XL pipeline, stop the hemorrhaging at the DOD, or do anything substantive to stop the out of control spending.

I was about to say the same thing, except that it's little Ricky who's ensuring an obamney win.

Yes, that how the networks wanted to keep it until folks like Drudge came along. Once upon a time not so long ago you'd see networks calling elections with 1% of the vote in and wonder why. They were using these exit polls to help make the calls. Now the establishment media can't get away with hiding this stuff because someone will inevitably leak it to Drudge. People are just pissed and not thinking clearly because RINO Mitt is winning as of 5PM. People talking like we should go back to the old days and let the establishment media keep things the elites already know from us it just crazy.

Drudge has touted these exit polls 3 hours before the polls close; just as people in AL and MS are about to get off work and go vote. Drudge has already declared Mitt the winner in Mississippi. Yes, I don’t want the media to declare a winner before the polls close.

So it’s better that a guy like Drudge declares a winner 3 hours before the polls close, and influence those who haven’t voted yet, to just go straight home after work and not bother voting because there already is a winner. If you think this is good, and should be done, then Gore would have won in ‘00 and Kerry in ‘04 if it had been done then.

CNN has the exit polls plastered all over their ticker tape.
They started doing this hours before the polls are due to close. It should be against the law.

Looks like my fear all along— dividing the conservative vote and the open primary fraud is helping Romeycare. What a mess.

He's posting the 5 PM exits. The exit polling usually comes in 3 waves (at least it used to). Early, 5PM, closing. We do not know exactly what these 5PM exit polls represent, we also do not know how the late voters will cast their ballots.

If you enjoy being kept in the dark, don't read Drudge.
