Jane Fonda and Gloria Steinem, two icons of the liberal feminist establishment, are taking aim at Rush Limbaugh in a bid to end the career of America’s most popular conservative talk show host.
In an op-ed written for CNN on their website, the two, joined by Robin Morgan, liken Limbaugh to Nazi propagandist Josef Goebbels because, they say, he labels all of his enemies as “sub-human.”
“Limbaugh doesn't just call people names,” they write. “He promotes language that deliberately dehumanizes his targets. Like the sophisticated propagandist Josef Goebbels, he creates rhetorical frames -- and the bigger the lie the more effective -- inciting listeners to view people they disagree with as sub-humans. His longtime favorite term for women, "femi-nazi," doesn't even raise eyebrows anymore, an example of how rhetoric spreads when unchallenged by coarsened cultural norms.”

For those of us who answered the call of duty, and who put their lives on the line for this country, Jane Fonda will forever be a symbol of treachery, divisiveness, and cowardliness.
In a way, she got away with treason, but the Holzers' book goes a long way in righting a terrible wrong.

I was going to object to them driving off the Canyon and messing it up with their nasty remains, but if it was in a Volt??? Maybe worth it. On the other hand how long would it take for the old hags to drive across the country stopping to recharge every 30 miles?

I don’t think it means anything at all. I think it just something she said to fill in dead air while she was speaking. She thought it sounded like “something” and it just rolled off the tongue.
I think a lot of the time she and other agitators say things like this and they don’t even pause and reflect on what they have said.
It’s because they talk too damn much. They love to hear themselves speak and they get paid to do so. They get away with it because they’re speaking to idiots.

With the recent publication of Fonda’s autobiography, My Life So Far — which, with one minor exception, does not contain a single cited source to support any claim she makes in her text, or any quotation she uses — the woman justly dubbed “Hanoi Jane” makes statements and provides details that inadvertently lend support to every key charge against her.
