"Santorum also took on Gingrich obliquely, reminding the crowd that he and his own wife, Karen, have been married 21 years and home-schooled their seven children. On Friday, he was less subtle in drawing an implicit contrast with Gingrichs history of marital infidelity, castigating him for sitting on a sofa next to Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-San Francisco) in a TV ad calling for steps to address climate change.
I didnt sit on the couch with anybody, Santorum said. I would only sit on the couch with my wife. Period. No other women particularly not Nancy Pelosi.
There is nothing that could ever make me vote for Saintorum... I like him less with each passing day.
No to Romney.
No to Santorum.
Hell yes to Newt Gingrich.
** President Newt Gingrich-”Our beloved republic deserves nothing less.”
>> “I didnt sit on the couch with anybody,” Santorum said.
That’s right. Unlike Newt, who was obviously on a safari, Rick voted for big government law; being the compassionate, establishment bit player he is.
The moral vanity surrounding the Santorum campaign is a sure 2012 loser.
Something kinda disturbing about Santorum.
Those are two rether rediculous complaints.
What, just because Newt once cheated on two wives, no other candidate is allowed to say they have been married for 21 years?
And it’s almost disgusting to even THINK about the bizarre interpretation you had for “sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi”.
And it’s funny that you didn’t see the irony in complaining about “classless”, while missing the possible issue over the “empty walmart” comment. If a liberal had said that about a republican meeting, we’d all be castigating the liberal for their attacks on our fellow conservatives.
