NAACP Asking U.N. Human Rights Council to Condemn American Voter ID Laws

Riled by state-level voting law changes that it alleges are designed to suppress “the political participation of people of color, the poor, the elderly, and the young,” the NAACP is turning to the U.N. Human Rights Council for support.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People president Benjamin Jealous and other association representatives plan to visit Geneva next week to address the HRC, a forum that frequently witnesses clashes between Western democracies and repressive states.

The NAACP delegation hopes the HRC will take up its concerns about legal initiatives such as voter ID laws passed by more than a dozen states, which proponents say are designed to prevent voter fraud but the NAACP charges are part of an orchestrated campaign to disenfranchise minority groups.

“We are hoping they will come over here, look at the impact of these laws, look at the intent, and actually render their recommendations about what actions we should take with regard to these laws,” USA Today quoted Jealous as saying during a media conference call on Thursday

Perfect description of todays so-ca;;ed black leaders. I shudder to think how many blacks do not even know who Booker T Washington was much less Frederick Douglas or Sojourner Truth.

If these people think the old Southern slavemasters were hard on them, just wait until the UN takes them over...they don’t have a Constitution to protect civil rights...

What do the sexual deviants, retards and criminals down at the UN have to do with OUR voter ID laws? The time is coming when Americans are going to have to take action to get the UN the hell our of OUR country. America is a sovereign nation. The UN can take their bull**** somewhere else.

This statement you made is the ironic bottom line of the Left’s racist diversity re-education movement. It gathers up Blacks and Hispanics and whites and puts them into an emotional state of weakness - shame, hate and resentment. It offers solutions that are Marxist - poverty, oppression, slavery, abuse and death.

Black slaves did not fight for a better system of enslavement and abuse. They wanted the freedom the white man had.

Stupid is as stupid does.

There is a part of me that hopes the UN does try and stick their nose into this. It might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, in a PR sense, and we can at last get the US out of the UN, and get the UN the hell out of the US altogether.
