Local commercial buys that are NOT EVEN on his show are releasing statements to pull advertising from his show! They may not even be currently advertising!! Ha!

I hadn’t heard the “Rush will be suspended” rumor yet.
The media is still dogpiling, trying to make this look like it’s a bigger deal than it is and still has legs. They did a long story on HLN (a network that no one watches) about a half hour ago regarding the “controversy” over Rush being honored by a bust in the MO Hall of Fame.
18,000 possible different sponsors, have lost “28”. And that 28 is a joke number. Too funny.
I say to let them come back. This has been a colossally humbling teaching moment for them, and perhaps they have painfully learned the error of their ways. I would rather see the quitters come back as a testament to the power of Rush’s audience.
I e-mailed WHYN asking why they're off the air. Strange... hope they didn't cancel Rush's show. :-(
Fortunately I'm listening to Rush via his website now.

Having been in the marketing/advertising business for many years what Rush is saying is spot on. The media is falling all over themselves to create a story where none exists. Seriously, an advertiser will go where the money/audience is.
That being said I would triple the rate of those who temporarily pulled off the program...

Even before Carbonite bailed on Rush, they were on shaky ground.
From Carbonite’s most recent quarterly filing with the SEC:
“We experienced net losses of $17.4 million for 2008, $19.2 million for 2009, $25.8 million for 2010, and $17.4 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2011, respectively, and have an accumulated deficit of $94.3 million as of September 30, 2011.”
Doing the math, that’s $156.7 million down the drain!
It is up today, but that is a mistake. Rush may forgive them. I won’t.
