Obama Says Diplomacy Can Stop Iran From Getting Nuclear Weapons, Assails Republican Critics
WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama declared Tuesday that diplomacy can still resolve the crisis over Iran’s possible pursuit of nuclear weapons, and he accused his Republican critics of “beating the drums of war.”
“Those folks don’t have a lot of responsibilities,” Obama said. “They are not commander in chief.”
Tension with Iran, and Obama’s preference for restraint, dominated his first full news conference of the year, held on the same day that Republican Super Tuesday voting was drawing attention as well.
On politics, Obama said that higher gasoline prices as a result of Mideast worries would be a bad idea for any president running for re-election, and he also said he was working to expand America’s energy base.

Obama isn’t interested in stopping Iran from getting a bomb, he is all for it. he hates Israel and wants to see a weak US.
Whil Putin is taking over in Russia and building their armed forces, and China is building their aremed forces. Obama is shutting ours down homosexualising them and closing down nuke sites.
Weare all seeing it done , he isn’t hiding it he is bragging on it, and half of America, just like Britain during Chamberlains time believes the fool.
Peace through power is the only sure peace.
Well of course he’s going to say this being that he’s a foreign born Muslim who wants Iran to get nukes so he can be looked upon as a Martyr to Islam which is why he’s also helping the Muzzie brotherhood take over as many countries as possible, why he tried to close down Gitmo his fist day in office and why he wants Khalid Sheik Mohammed tried under the Constitution so he can be freed.. And just think: He’s only been in office a little more than 3 years. Imagine 5 more of this BS.
He’s not just Muslim; he is shia.
Why would any honest and sensible person believe that diplomacy would work in the next one or two years, when it has failed spectacularly for so many years with Iran’s nuclear program? I assume that Obama is lying and not just ignorant.
How many golf outings and luxury vacations has this doofus taken in the last 3 years?
My only comfort is that he lies so much there is a better than even chance even he know's this is hogwash!

The question all those who support diplomacy should
ask themselves is, what if it doesn’t stop them.
What then? Begging? Pleading? Bribery?
An attack? When all their facilities are hardened
and underground?
What is that saying of Churchill, about when do you
fight?
If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.
