He says he's well ahead in Georgia! Come on Georgia!!!
Newt Gingrich hints he plans to re-fight old primaries and caucuses at the county convention level, campaigning for delegates that are not legally required to vote for the candidate selected in the popular vote and he blasts Romney, and also says he will challenge Romney and his rivals to another debate to be held in either Alabama or Mississippi.

It just amazes me that every conservative voter can’t see that Newt is not only the best one to face Obama, but also the best one to actually implement a real conservative agenda once he’s in office.
Gingrich is the only candidate I’ve seen in years who could have matched the caliber of America’s founders had he lived then.

He said he’ll be proposing a debate in the coming days.

Sounds good, I like a man who fights for it.
I think all the remaining contenders are rather scrappy, really.

I agree...unfortunately, the average GOP primary voter is as susceptible to the media narrative and the negative ads as any other group. I knew a slew of solid Republicans who voted from Romney in Florida because a ‘business background’ is what is needed right now. While I don’t disagree with that concept, Romney is such a flawed candidate on so many levels, that people didn’t even consider sending a guy into battle who held about half of Obama’s views about 6 years ago is a terrible idea.

Considering what we have seen the left do to rush over the slut issue, it should be clear to anyone that a war is comming. Newt is the only one strong enough and smart enough to lead the fight. Looks like the fight has alrady begun and the next great battle is in tampa.

This say Gingrich will go after the delegates, none of which were actually WON by Santorum in his so-called "Trifecta" win.
Brilliant. If he doesn't do that then Romney would end up with all of them.
Certainly Santorum doesn't have the stuff to make this play.

You're kidding, right?
"The Great Duce Uniter" has made it totally clear where he stands about ruthless attacks against any who oppose him using the full stregth and resources of the Federal Government, from the DOJ on down...
So you expect a living, thinking citizen to use a White House Web Site to sign a petition that he should resign??
Whose idea is this? Alinsky's? Cloward and Piven? Jeremiah Wright?
I have to have a "White House Account" to access the site?
Name
Address
Phone number
Social Security Number
Party Affiliation
Gun Ownership
Internet Address...

I’ll agree with that. I made a similar statement last night. Newt can slow the train down and potentially stop it.
AND...
If it does crash due to congress, Newt and only Newt is the one who will restore the Republic. There is no way Romney or Santorum have the stones to do that.

“Hannity offered to do it.”
That would be awesome! The question is why can’t we do this for more of our debates instead of having MSM moderators steer the debate to protect Obama, and get Republicans to fight?
To: trappedincanuckistan
And it ain't over till the fat lady sings!
The race goes on!
Does anyone here on FR have a delegate count going per candidate and tally as the state primaries are held? Sure like to see a running count.
I know the delegates here in Florida may be awarded proportional in the end, so the FL delegates are not secure in Romney's total.

The cowards all refused to attend the CNN debate in Georgia, so CNN had to cancel that one.
This primary is all about stopping Newt Gingrich!
Notice that his two very popular, conservative, patriot, former rivals have both endorsed him! Governor Rick Perry and Herman Cain!

Listening to Barbara Bush endorse Romney.
I admire Barbara Bush. Although I understand her comment about not liking the “nastyness” “in-fighting” in the campaign, I wonder if she realizes that Mitt Romney was the first one to begin the “nastyness” which resulted in the “in-fighting”.

I knew a slew of solid Republicans who voted from Romney in Florida because a business background is what is needed right now. Michael Rumbin, a vice president for technology management at Dade told the Los Angeles Times, My experience at Dade during those Bain Capital years was that it was strictly an investment, not to create jobs.
To: Maceman
I have strived here on FR to convince conservatives to vote for Newt. But some refuse, calling Newt a “pig” due to adultery.
It is shameful how people refer to themselves as Christian yet have no understanding what that truly means. Many Christian saints led lives of corruption and debauchery before finally seeing ‘the light’.

True, so true. Bain Capital was like a wrecking yard - wring as much value as possible out of the wreckage, then dispose of the remains.

" There's no question that at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate.
And what I can tell you is that when I did things that were wrong, I wasn't trapped in situation ethics, I was doing things that were wrong, and yet, I was doing them. I found that I felt compelled to seek God's forgiveness.
Not God's understanding, but God's forgiveness. I do believe in a forgiving God. And I think most people, deep down in their hearts hope there's a forgiving God.
Somebody once said that when we're young, we seek justice, but as we get older, we seek mercy."~Newt Gingrich

Yes. Christians aren’t better than other people. We forvige others who’ve sinned against us, and seek forgiveness for our sins against others. True contrition is valued by God.
